My friends and family threw me a surprise bridal shower yesterday
it was so fabulous. The only part I didn't like was sitting in front of everyone to open gifts, I don't like all attention on me :blushing: But they all got Kyle and I great gifts even though they didn't know what they should get us. I had such a great time having champagne all day with friends and family, felt very loved :smooched: Didn't drink when we got home and headed to bed at 10:45 so that's why I'm up so early. Not sure what the plans are today but I definitely need my bike ride, feeling poofy today. 0 -
Ahhhhh...it's September and I am going to be year older this month :frown: and Kat is getting married :bigsmile: and Sid is going to lose the five pounds she gained on vacay
and Kim is going to come to the conclusion about her lushy ways :huh: and fall leaves are going to fall and drinks are going to be had by most in this group!
I have worked my butt off today scrubbing floors and cleaning, now I am sitting down listening to 70's classic rock with a tequila drink.
Yesterday we took Callie to a Dixie dock diving event. She did not participate, but I wanted to check it out to see what it was about. She had fun socializing with other four-legged creatures and humans too. Not sure if she would be up to jumping though. Here is a website if you are interested in seeing what it is. Went to Margaritas for lunch, had 2 tall bud lights, a few chips with salsa then pulled pork taco salad with no cheese and a few bites of rice and beans. Stopped at the package store to get booze and came home and hopped on the bike for 2 hours. Haven't had anything else, don't feel like booze at the moment :noway: Fiancés friends mentioned a power hour but he doesn't want to go anywhere and I certainly don't want to so he told them they could come here. I would not participate but maybe I'll feel like a beverage in a bit, we shall see!0

He is almost 10 months old.and about 65 pounds. He still has a little growing to do to catch up to Bodi (85-90lbs depending on his activity level ) He is starting to get the hang of things but he still has really really bad moments. Last weekend he pulled a 6 inch by 3 inch peice of drywall off the wall for no good reason. :mad:0 -
Ended up having some beers with the fiancé but wasn't really feeling it so I stopped. Had a turkey grinder no cheese, no mayo, with a bit of oil n vinegar and hot peppers for dinner. Headed to bed shortly after that, in bed before 11 and asleep a bit after that
Fiancé is home today but I'm going to go about my routine and get my work outs and house work done.

stomach is not good. After a greyhound yesterday morning I had nothing the rest of the day. I still don't feel well. It feels like when I get really stressed and I think it has to do with work. I can't sleep and I keep dreaming about work when I do. I think I am a little over loaded and I will have to work on getting a handle on it. I like the job its just I feel so busy all the time and like I will never get it all done. I need to clean today. catch you all later.0

Diana, I checked out that website and I loved the part where you can't throw anything alive or anything thats been alive. I think my border collie would like that except that he is kind of lazy. Oh, I'm another year older this month as well. The big 46, closer to 50 than 40. The age where things start to creep up.
Plus, I will never come to a conclusion about this lushiness. :noway:

Nisi, Kyle was in on it Apparently it was a little last minute but you never would have guessed. There were decorations, a mimosa bar, full spread of food, gifts neatly wrapped, a special chair just for me and bridal games to boot! Definitely made me feel special :smooched:
So it's the holiday and it's weird but I always get more done when the fiancé has a holiday off. He's up cleaning the office and I've already vacuumed all the rugs including the stairs, mopped and swiffered the hard floors, cleaned the cat boxes and the their bathroom and am now going to pick up the basement and get the laundry started. I can't wait til it's all done and I can relax with a drink :drinker: Probably one of the many beers we bought but maybe I'll get some mixers and have a couple stiff drinks, I love how relaxed those make me.
