Heat Index hit 96 or 102F depending which weather app you believe. Either way, too hot and steamy for late September. Rest of this week is just a little bit cooler, but not by much.
Strangest craving last night. Roasted chickpeas, wasabi peas, jellybeans, chocolate stuffed Oreos, not even gummy bears touched it. Finally got the monkey off my back with vanilla ice cream drizzled with chocolate syrup. Only 1000 cals over budget.0 -

Losing my mojo. Weight creeping up. Get home bone weary, flop in the easy chair and start stuffing my face. Hit the end of my calorie budget, but I don't stop eating. [sigh]
OK, I know it's just a seasonal phase as same thing happened last year at this time.
So the big question is - Do I fight it now or do I listen to my body and allow the extra weight on, knowing I can drop it again during the off season when I go back to formal exercises?
Yeah, that's what I thought. [slaps self across face hard three times.]
With cooler weather finally coming in, my water consumption is down during the day. Add to that, my nocturnal trips to the head are all most nonexistent. This would indicate I'm dehydrated by evening and eating rather than drinking.
New plan. Drink a full liter of water before getting another snack during the evening hours.0 -

Worked first half of day, then had root canal done on #31. Also decided to take Docs advice and had #3's root canal re-done again (for third time). He found a crevice, using his microscope, down one root canal. Spent twice as much time on #3 as he did on #31.
After I got home, put 20 minutes on treadmill @ 2.5 mph to get my daily goal of 100 active minutes.
This morning I only have one word...
Ouch.
Hope the three Ibuprofens combined with two Tylenols (suggested OTC pain meds) start working before I start bouncing around on a mower.0 -
