WTW0N - Not sure if we missed you making GOAL this month because I just noticed the formulas in the spreadsheet for you were not right so you hadn't turned GOLD yet, but I just fixed it and you are clearly way past GOAL!!! :drinker:
SAPPHIRE318 - You can make your goal next month...I know you can...but it's going to take getting out there a few more times in the month. :flowerforyou:

25.46 walking miles since I last posted for a total of 170.11miles. Will post today's miles plus my biking miles for the month after my walks.0

Finished out the month with 3.1 miles on the treadmill.... that brings my total miles for the month to 296.17. Not too shabby - hit a pretty lofty goal, ran the fastest 5k of my life - all in all, a good month.
August will be ... a bit less remarkable - but I'll be back in September with a vengeance, I think.0 -
I'm in a running challenge on MFP as well as this "total miles" challenge. One of the members of that challenge posted the following, and I thought it was EXCELLENT, so I stole it and am sharing it with you all.Guys! Please do not be intimidated by some of us that can do 100+ monthly miles. Rome was not built in a day. Some of us have been running for a very long time or have a history of athletics growing up. The main thing is to do what you can do. Set a reasonable goal and stay consistent with it while avoiding injury (or aggrivating an existing injury if that is the case). You all did great in my book. No matter how big your goal was or how close you came to meeting it. You were courageous enough to set a goal and keep yourself accountable to the group and that is something that everyone should be proud of. Congratulations and see you in August!!!!
