    Hello all, I just joined the group. I am a walker right now. My goal is to become a runner again. Im not sure if the miles below will count since i just joined but my goal for September is 45 miles.

    Back from a 10 day vacation trip to Annapolis [50th class reunion], Cooperstown [DH loves baseball], and Stratford, ONT [three plays in two days]. During that time I managed to walk 14.52 miles according to the pedometer.

    September total so far = 30.18. Need to work hard from now on to get to my goal this month.

    I GOT THE BOOT OFF THIS WEEK! woot.gif

    I still have to take it easy as the bone is only about 70% healed but the orthopedist said that any longer with the boot can damage the soft tissue. I still can't do any 5Ks and no more than 3 miles on the bike until my appointment in 6 weeks. It doesn't matter right now because after 3 miles on the bike or walking very slowly, my ankle is spasming.

    September 1 - 21

    Walking: 38.82 miles
    Biking: 4 miles

    Total: 42.82 miles

    Got in 11 miles last night and that's it. 329 out of 300 and I'm out for the month. I am moving so I'll see you guys next month. :smokin: :smokin:

    I'm playing catch up once again. Only adding 18 miles. This month has not been going well but I guess a few miles are better than no miles.

    37.3 miles added today in 2 spin classes.... 2 is too many for me at this point. Good grief, I am tired and ready for bed! Good thing it's Dave's night to update the spreadsheet.

    That puts me closer to green, but still not confident I'm going to make it this month. It's been a rough month, but I'm still mooooovin'!
