Binged today...mostly out of boredom. I think it didn't help that I'm a bit emotionally tired these days. Things are looking up but it took a ton of hard work to get there so I think some part of me thought I deserved a reward. But binges aren't a reward!!! ugh....

Crazy weekend. The busier I am, the harder it is for me to stay on track. Instead, I go for what is quick and easy and tastes good. But the month is just starting. And therapy session 2 is tomorrow.

Also, thank you, @IsMollyReallyHungry for your words at the end of Aprils thread. I appreciate it more than you know.
    Your so welcome!

I'm new to all of this. Starting today, hopefully binge free for a while!

Thanks for being honest - I was looking for something on binging and found this thread.

I have logged onto mfp 60 plus days in a row and this is the worst "binge" period ive had. I actually logged the first binge day and came out at around 4000 calories. There are NO binge foods in the house (now) but i actually had to stop myself going to the shops today to buy one of my favorite binge snacks. Hopefully this post will help me to stop mr. binge in his tracks.

I"m giving myself today because I started to binge and stopped myself. Ate several servings of a trigger food and threw the rest away, then spent a little extra time at the gym and ate a healthy light dinner. This almost never happens - once I make the decision it's just eat eat eat until I fall asleep.

I came so, so close to opening a giant bag of snacks last night (which are only in the house as it's my son's bday party tomorrow and we have them for company) and just going to town. I worked so hard to talk myself out of it. It was honestly exhausting and saddening; I went to bed wiped out and in tears. But, I did it and am so much happier today.

I have the same battle with myself - but remember your "happier" feeling today and use that next time the binge monster is around.

Dont let it get you down. We have all been there. Focus on all the good work you have done so far - one day doesnt change where you want to be.
