    I walked 3 with the fur babies & did 17 on the ex bike. Need to cover 53 miles in 5 days to be 1/2 way by mid month! I GOT THIS!!!!

    I rode with the girls last night and ended up helping change a flat tire, so didn't get as many miles as I wanted to. Thankfully, not my flat tire! Adding 14.73 miles.

    Do any of you use a row machine? I was thinking of getting one due to the fact that it is good for strengthening your back, legs & arms but was wondering what brands were the best.

    Adding 38 miles for 127 out of 300. That last weekend just really wiped me out. 86 hour shifts really suck. I'm just getting back to feeling human again.

    Lost a cycling group member Tuesday evening, killed while cycling. I have been a funny mood ever since. Yesterday forgot my helmet, today forgot my cell phone so no Strava track. Just finished a second ride to get some of those miles back for Vuelta. My point is I am feeling sad and frustrated the way cyclists are treated, and losing an acquaintance because someone plowed into the back of her and her husband while they were doing what they loved is disheartening.

    And let us not forget today, 9/11, a day that we shall never forget. This pic, there are no words to describe what we lost, what they lost and what the survivors lost.

    09/08 - 02.0 miles walking (oh sweet rest day from Vuelta)
    09/09 - 14.0 miles cycling (Le Vuelta Challenge Stage 17)
    09/09 - 01.0 miles walking
    09/10 - 13.0 miles cycling (Le Vuelta Challenge Stage 18)

    @anaconda469: I am so sorry for your loss. My family always worry about me being hit while riding or running. We lost a local vet here from someone hitting him with their car while he was cycling. It is just mind boggling.
    @Dean: I just can't imagine working for that long. I just don't understand the rationale behind it or how it can benefit either the person doing it or those one is helping. It just goes against how the human body is suppose to function. Surely there are studies that prove the quality of decision making and lack of proper sleep. God bless you. Hope you are feeling back in normal rhythm soon.
