Hello fellow MYA friends! I am on the mend after round 3 of surgeries, and I'm moving(ever so slightly). So I'm throwing my hat in for the remainder of the month. As of last week, I started on the stationary bike at therapy and I've done 6.5 milesthrough today! So I'm sigining for 10 miles for September

Welcome back spikesmom! So scary but we are glad that you are on the mend.

I did 3 miles this morning. At 70/100. Now I'm at the airport. On my way to Berlin!!! Feeling nervous. August is not a good month for training ergo September is not a good month for racing.

Nice, ride over 70 mins. Getting stronger. Almost time to haul up to Puyallup to tackle Foothills out and back, total 30 miles. I am going to do Springwater corridor Portland to Boring out and back before I tackle the MT Rainier foothills. That one is 32 miles total.

    09/22 - 13.0 miles cycling
    09/23 - 14.0 miles cycling

    Total: 245.0 miles

@spikesmom: Welcome back Adele...so glad to see you back with us again. We missed you!
@Janet: Holding good thoughts for your marathon in Berlin. I know how you feel. I ran my half in July and it was tough. But I know that all that tapering and pent up energy will bring you through girl.

@Dean...so just how long is the Hiawatha trail that coming up? I'm rootin' for you however long it is!

    Chris

It's only 30 miles through a mountain pass with a lot of fall color changes. It should be fun. The grade is not real steep. It's on an old Rail Road track that has been converted to a trail. I'll have to post photos. :-)
