Just completed Week 1 Day 2 today. While I still can't imagine myself doing the Week 5 exercises (I looked ahead to see what I was getting into haha), today I actually felt OK about running. Even though I'm still convinced grandpa and his walker could pass me on the jogs, today I did not hate the running and towards the end started to enjoy myself. Might leave the coonhounds at home though--it was hard to run when you had two dogs criss-crossing in front of you!

I've just done W5D1, the three blocks of 5 minute runs were tiring but definitely do-able! First 8 minute runs next time, wish me luck...

You've got this! Slow down and keep reminding yourself you are capable. It's really a mind game from here on out!

Just finished week four yesterday. I just realized there was a group for C25K.

I must admit that I'm slightly nervous about week 5 day 3.

Just wanted to leave a note to encourage all of you on this journey. I just started the bridge to 10k program and if I can complete the couch to 5k program anyone can.

I just started the 10k plan as well. I wish there was a daily check in thread for the bridge to 10k plan as I find checking in to help keep me accountable to my running.

Week 6 Day 2 - I didn't think I could do it and I did. I am starting to finally believe I can complete this and be a runner. I had to use k tape from a slight tweak to my knee at PIYO on wednesday. I need to go to a podiatrist because my left foot has sharp pain on lift off.

Hey everyone! Week 4, Run 1 is in the bag! I'm using a treadmill, since my throat gets all screwy when I run in the cold (I have exercise-induced bronchoconstriction).

Wife and I started yesterday -- W1D1. It felt too easy for both of us so we're going to do W2D2 on Wednesday. Our goal is to run a 5k on 12 March. We're also doing a 30 day squat challenge. Feeling good!

On W3D2 today! I used to run & run! LOVED IT! Right after the fargo marathon 7 years ago I had my first of 9 surgery's on my legs due to a vascular birth defect. Now I am 65 pounds heavier than when I ran my 1st 5k! Just getting back into it slowly and hoping to get that runner's high again someday!
