@KAR328 - DEJAVU!!
Dave
Sigh, of course you would come along right after I made the post, my computer was acting up, so I rebooted. Then it looked like it didn't "post reply" so I hit the button again. At the same time the cable box in my room also had to be rebooted since it was showing I had no recorded shows, when I've got plenty. I think all is good now.
@KAR328 - No worries! I hope all is stable in your electronic world today. :flowerforyou:

Thanks everyone! The surgery went well, although there wasn't good news. Apparently the tendon was probably torn by a bone spur related to arthritis in the shoulder. Dr. scraped the bone, reattached the tendon and stitched me up. Expected recovery at least 12 weeks.
Do you need any help with miles this month???0 -

@Dean: We could use more parents like you. I had a girl with a fever yesterday back today so she wouldn't miss her Valentine party. So much for 24 hours fever free. Today the other art teacher down, music teach left at noon, assistant left at 2:00 and I had to go cover a first grade Valentine party for a first grade teacher. Yikes! So glad the kids have off Monday so we can get them out of here for a few days.
Yippee...the weekend.
@vhuber: Snow is so beautiful to look at. I love to get out in it before people ruin it with driving on it or walking all through it. I love trail running in it too. It seems so tranquil being out in it with no one else around. It really looks like someone wrapped the earth in a fluffy blanket.
Feb. 12: Too much food around today and too cold to get outside. Ran with my kids and walked a lot inside. 8.68 miles
TTD: 120.65 miles

Adding another 6 miles on the XC skis. That's 31 out of 150.
Adding another 3 miles on the XC skis. Skate skiing is TOUGH! I guess I just need more practice. That makes 34 out of 150.
6 more miles on the hamster wheel. That's 40 out of 150.
Adding 6 more miles for 46 out of 150. It was nice to start commuting again. I didn't expect that two weeks into February.
Adding 16 more miles. It's good to be outside on the bike again but I forgot how hard it is to lug my fat carcass up the hills. That makes 62 out of 150.
Adding another 15 miles for 77 out of 150.
Adding 6 miles for 83 miles out of 150. Coming right along this month.
Adding another 12 miles for 95 out of 150.0 -
