I have been making birthday and other celebration cakes for the past couple of years as a side line but I always say no to wedding cakes as I just didn't have the confidence in myself to pull it off. I was asked by a good friend to make the cake for their wedding recently and not only did I say yes but pulled off my first ever 4 tier cake and even made the gumpaste roses. I am convince the increased confidence due to my weight loss was the key to this success story.

My latest NSV happened last night. My husband was rubbing my arms and he said he could feel that they were more toned. That little comment made me so happy and has been me more motivation to work out after work today.

Over the weekend I bought a pair of jeggings that were a size smaller than what I have been wearing for over a year now (and I would never wear jeggings before, just skinny jeans) and I had to get a link taken out of my watch!

Was so happy to refind this thread. After a major loss weight I have been struggling with maintenance. Recently, I have found myself more on the "discouraged" spectrum and this was contributing to some recurring stinking thinking. On impulse I tried on a skirt that I had tried on in the beginning of maintenence and found then it still was too small for me, but I kept it because I love the color and style..this time when I tried it on it is so loose that I will need to alter it. Just goes to show that things do change off scale and that this WOE seems to take on a life of its own - working for you even when you find your own mind working against you! Totally restoked and reinvigorated!!!! Keto on, pals.
