Words of advice to anyone that's interested...If I could go back to beginning of maintenance I never would have tried 5:2 or Judd because this Bear Maintenance Plan is the easiest and most enjoyable plan there is for me...If OMAD works for you during the losing phase then it's going to work for you during the maintenance phase1 -
Loving your consistency. You are maintaining well, I don't see weight being an issue for you ever again. OMAD all the way for me; now and in maintenance.1

16 weeks and still at the same exact weight, now that is maintaining.
At some point I am going to try BMP.1 -

Hey Brenda! Thanks for continuing to share your journey. I don't write much on here but I still keep up with the various threads which are all very inspiring. I'm still doing great on OMAD - 60lb down...but getting more and more nervous as I get closer to maintenance. Do you still mostly do your splurge days on the weekends or rotate them weekly? Your results are clearly consistent but do you notice a difference if you switch around your splurge days weekly?1

Yes my splurge days are on the weekends and I have either 2 or 3 days but if something special is going on during the week I would change days I havent had that happen yet but I don't think it would hurt me...Congrats on your 60 pound loss so far KUTGW0 -

I'm doing LC on my OMAD days only but once I get to the low end of my Maintenance window which is 125 pounds I'm going to try not doing LC anymore...I know that I will have a gain from it and I might not get as many splurge days but I want to try it because I love eating the same meals with my Husband Plus I'll never know until I try right?!1

That's right, Brenda. The key to finding out what works for you is to try different methods. Maintenance is also hard work, find what you enjoy!1

Thanks Y'all...This week I had splurge days on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday and I had OMAD days on Monday and Wednesday and on Thursday I Water Fasted0

My only fear is that on a "splurge" day I can get an ENORMOUS amount of calories...like a LOT - maybe when I go into maintenance I'll start with just one a week and check along the way to make sure I'm still at the same weight0

I could see myself racking up a lot of calories on my feast days as well which is why I incorporated two water fast days into my maintenance plan. I hope they are enough.0

Yeah I think I might have to continue with at LEAST one fasting day - plus I like them sometimes, keeps my head clear1 -
That's why I still weigh every day, because I want to know where I'm at by Friday and if I'm up too high I will have a water day I think it's the only way I'll be able to maintain this weight...I eat a lot of bad foods in my splurge days, not all bad but enough to make me gain 10 pounds sometimes, I know it's mostly water but OMG it's crazy!!!0

I could also turn my feast days into 16:8 days and eat whatever I want between 11am and 7pm If I find myself needing to reel things in.2

Eat healthy! Some junk is fine I think but my rule (most of the time) is to have that only after eating a good meal so the effects are buffered and so I don't eat too much of it.1 -
I just watched Joe's new YouTube video about the one plate rule and he showed some of the meals he eats...Well I do the one plate and be done rule but I learned that I need to eat more of a variety of foods so I need to work on that because I'm not eating enough fruits or vegetables...Im going to change my 3 or 4 splurge days into just 2 and they will be more healthy and then I'll have 5 OMAD days0
