Mini Ultimate Accountability Challenge - February Week #2 (Feb. 4th to Feb. 10th)
Winner's Circle - 6 or 7 days:
@Mariec1978 (all 7 days!) - didn't even attempt last week; first time in the WC!
@GardenMama129 (6) - retained her crown...how many weeks in a row now?!
@holly2e (6) - just attempted last week; first time in the WC!
Notable Effort - 4 or 5 days:
@enyagoboom (5) - didn't even attempt last week, now a notable effort!
@karynclarke (4) - a continued notable effort!
@thedestar (4) - only attempted last week, now a notable effort!
Attempted:
@primekayprime (3) - game night derailed her this week!
@RinsenRepeat (3) - illness derailed her this week!
@SAHNinja (3) - gave it a good try!
@Nicoletime4me (2) - gave it a try again!
@Rielyn (2) - gave it a try!
@Coheednkimbria (1) - gave it a try!
@Tracie_Lord (1) - gave it a try!
We had 13 people attempt the challenge last week and we had 3 reach the Winner's Circle!! @GardenMama129 retained her crown, like she proclaimed she would, but we had two newcomers join her! Well done, @Mariec1978 and @holly2e!! And @Mariec1978 was accountable for all seven days!! Congratulations, ladies!!

Woohoo! Good job everyone!1

I just recently figured out how I could hit my protein goals without protein powder or going over calories. That has been a struggle of mine. But now I think I can do it!3

Just a smidge over in calories which would have been square had I tried to do more than play with my pups, but even my normally exuberant dog was done after five minutes. Happy to see I made it on the boards with the mini challenge5 -

I looked up high protein low calorie foods. Boneless skinless chicken breast has something like 53g and 284 calories. It didn't give the weight of that, but still, I think that's doable for a meal considering I like plenty of veggies that aren't calorie dense. And lean ground beef ( 90/10 or around) is good ratio too.. for snack and breakfast to me is eggs.

@HASWLRS
Well, we are excited for you!! Can you share any of these changes that you have made? Only 9 pounds from goal....let the countdown begin!![/quote]
Not sure why that quote didn’t work ...
There are are a few things ... one I’ve been trying intermittent fasting. I do all of my eating during 8 hours, I use 1:30pm-9:30pm although I’m usually done eating by 8-8:30. Then I don’t eat again for at least 16 hours. In the beginning of January I started working part time (I had been a stay at home Mom for 18 years). I work from 9 AM until 1 PM. That has made this change realitively easy because I’m busy and I don’t think a whole lot about eating. I also find that most days I’m not hungry. As a result I’m eating less calories. I’m also trying to be more mindful of how much I eat on weekends. Once I was close to goal I stopped really paying attention to what happened Friday Saturday and Sunday. As a result I was maintaining and then slowly gaining weight back. That’s part of the reason I wanted to switch my weigh in day to Saturday, it helps keep me accountable on Fridays. I’ve been at goal before and I’d love to get back there!! Jan was a good month. Hoping for a good February as well
