Here are my weekly averages, still headed in the right direction:
29 July 18- 230.7
5 August 18- 228.8
12 August 18- 225.3
19 August 18- 221.5
26 August 18- 218.7
I had a really good week for OMAD, I slipped one night at 10PM and had 2 bowls of cereal, but at dinnertime the next day I was not the least bit hungry so I just kept fasting. I ended up skipping my OMAD that day and continuing as normal the next. I guess if I listen to my body it really will guide me. I need to hear some success stories this week, I am following the process but the last 3 days my numbers are starting to go up.0 -
That is great! I think listening to our bodies is really important in terms of eating, I have discovered that no more than ever with OMAD.0

@Vanguard1 Good to meet you.
The topic of listening comes up, however, we must ask questions and acknowledge some facts about the human body and our food supply.
Some “foods” have been designed to be addictive. They will call to us years after the fact. We all have triggers.
Our bodies are stubborn and enjoy homeostasis, sometimes even a destructive state.
So, first, I think we have to reboot with OMAD and perhaps some longer fasting to reset that voice in our head (overall body as well). The body talking to us, because the human body is capable of great heights or of being a crack addict.
We have to learn to filter out the bad information. Hunger is a habit. Drinking fluid can be as well, as I just learned. Craving certain foods due to a nutritional need is a different matter.
All my rambling is really intended to say that listening is great, but be sure the message isn’t from a tempter or temptress!

Listening to your body is what I learnt when I started OMAD. When I first started, I open fast at about 2pm as that's what everyone tells me and that I should not eat this or that, etc, etc, etc. And guess what? I ended up caving into my cravings at night. I then decided to listen to my body and I OMAD when my body is screaming for food and its about 11.00am - 12.30pm and I eat whatever I want. That stopped my night cravings and it was so much easier for me. I also accepted that my body is very slow when it comes to weight loss. I just take OMAD as my new lifestyle and don't stress too much when I fall off the wagon. I just climb back up again. Good luck!0

Your numbers probably went up because you went a whole day of not eating and lost water weight and now that you started eating again the water weight came back. This happens to me every time. You're doing great1

I’m stealing this idea. Thank you.

Here are my weekly averages, still headed in the right direction:

12 August 18- 225.3
19 August 18- 221.5
26 August 18- 218.7
2 September 18- 216.3
Another plug for the weekly averaging, on 27 August my weight was 217.4 and on 3 September my weight was 218.4, so without daily weighing and weekly averaging it would look like I gained 1 pound over the week. But when I compare my averages I see that I actually lost 2.4 pounds over the course of the week.
The big change is in in measurements though, 30 July my waist was 41" with 25% body fat, and 1 September my waist was 39.5" with 22% body fat. I had a really good week with OMAD, hopefully the downward trend will continue.

During my fast I am only having water or black coffee, and it really helps with appetite control. I hit my OMAD all week, and feel like this is just natural now!1 -

Not a lot to report, when OMAD is going well, it is pretty boring. Appetite correction is in full swing, so there are really no cravings outside of my window, and I am very rarely hungry even when it is time to eat. I believe the weight loss will slow down pretty soon, I am amazed it has kept such a rapid pace, I must have had more "extra fuel" to burn than I thought!
I hope everyone has a great week,

Hurt my back on Tuesday and my numbers started to go up, in the end it averaged out as a loss (barely). Still clean fasting and having OMAD.1
