Sorry you guys been a very busy week. I'm just gonna do a breif update of this week. Monday and Tuesday i had doctors appointments and physical therapy. My physical therapist wants to decrease the amount of days i go so my insurance can continue to cover it. And also he notice I've become stronger. So that's a big plus for me. But it's still only temporary relief when i go. Wednesday i went to see my therapist and it went well. We just talked about staying busy and being active which i have been. And then i went the mall and walked atleast the equivalent to 2 miles. I was over 4000 steps above my usual goal. Then on Thursday i helped my best friend move into her new place so that's another work out!!! So now I'm looking forward to enjoying my weekend ! Hope everyone enjoys theirs !4

I didn't get out of work till 7 oclock last night. The floors are done. Painting is still in progress. I had the painters paint the walls where the desks went so I could put them back. Then after the painters left for the day, my tech guy came and hooked all the computer stuff back up in all three offices. I have to be to work at 7 am today. Painters are going to work 6 hours. They won't be finished but they will be close. At least we will be able to open monday and carry on business while they work toward the back end of the office. What a week.
@sleepymom5 And the scale goes down again! Yea! you are doing great. and i agree, the left overs are what will get ya! pack them up and send them off. It's hard to do the first couple of times but you will get use to it and then it will become almost fun!
@Mrsbell8well your detox sounds yummy! Is the essential sleep oil still working? I got mine yesterday and used it last nite. Don't know if I really slept better, but the smell was very soothing. I will use it every night even tho Jim says it stinks! lol
@nstephenson01 Good plan for the holiday party. Make sure to have a healthy snack before you go! It will help curb the munchies. Make sure to exercise before the party. then it will help provide you with some motivation. you won't want to ruin the work out with junk. good luck, you got this. @kirsten11872 to help you get back on track when your ready. spend some alone time with your thoughts. write out what your plan is and why it is so important to you. write out the advantages on post it notes and post them around the house and then read them 5 times a day. it will help get your mind in gear to do what you want.
@Mandi5512 look at you go girl!! nice loss. very nice. Keep up the hard work. I know this isn't easy but it certainly is worth it.
@Lyssysho26 it really sounds like you are building a great new way to live. Heathly. both mentally and physically. in spite of the pain. i know first hand how hard that is. how it plays games with your mind. but be really proud of yourself. you are doing awesome.

One of my new habits is to get a walk in every morning. It has become part of who I am. I just do it. I wouldn't think of not getting my walk in. The same way I wouldn't think of not brushing my teeth. It is just what I do.7 -

Fitting into size 12 jeans yesterday was a major moral booster. Steps were a bit low as I needed a part rest day but otherwise on track. Scale was kind this morning... 175.2 which means 45 pounds lost! Yea Baby!!
@cyndiesstuff That's my plan plus extra hydration throughout the day to make up for the couple glasses of wine I'll no doubt have. Definitely don't want to show up with an empty stomach. I will give some thought to your new habit post. Right now keeping it simple and sticking to the basics seems to be working during this busy month. Today is strength training + dog walk. Full day planned so gotta run.

Friday was a fun day spent with my best friend. I came to my best friends house and we just spent time enjoying each other's company. Went to a bar. Didn't have any drinks but water. I'm swearing off liquor during my weight loss. It's just something that works for me. I stayed up super late till like 4am ! The latest ive stayed up in the last 4 months! Hopefully it didn't throw off my balance. I got atleast 5 hours of sleep. So hopefully that counts for something. Hope everyone enjoy their Saturday5 -
I get alerts from the bell that someone liked my posts that is automatically added when diary is conplete, so their page must be fixed. Mine isn't, "newest post" is 3 days old. This sucks! When is it gonna be fixed!? It's just annoying me, lol. Firing up my irritabliness, is that even a word, idk!2

Can you believe it is almost 4pm and I am just getting on! I am really slow today. My party was a success! Everyone made such a fuss over the decorations and the food. It is a nice feeling when your work is appreciated. I actually cooked and my guests asked for the recipes. That doesn't happen often for me We had a ton of food and no one wanted to take it home so it killed me but I got rid of it. There is nothing left in the house. Before Shannon left for the evening she gave me a kiss and whispered in my ear-throw it all out tonight. So between her and you guys, I reluctantly threw it out. My youngest is home from college and helped me clean up. She actually made sure the trash got outside to the bin. Lol! Honestly, even when all the kids were home, I am the only one who ate the leftovers anyway. So it is nice that I had fun, over indulged a bit but have no choice but to get on track today. Shannon and I will be heading to the gym later and I already have a decent amount of steps in from cleaning up last night. Tomorrow a few of us are going to lunch and to a show. We didn't come up with a restaurant last night so I am going to have to wing it. I think I will be ok. We have a little drive so we won't be drinking and if so, just a glass. I would rather look ahead of time but think I can figure out a healthy option. Sounds like there are a lot of fun holiday events this weekend for everyone. Have a good time!
Newsfeed problem.
I looked into this homepage newsfeed problem. Everyone is having it. MFP says they are aware and are working on it. I have been on MFP since 2012 and this has never happened before or for this long. Hang in there! I am glad it isn't effecting the community pages at least!
@nstephenson01 I like how you balance things. A longer walk for your husbands dinner and a lighter dinner the following day. Have fun at your party. It will be nice seeing your neighbors as I am sure you don’t get to too much. (We see a little too much of our neighbors lol!) AND going down to a 12?! What an awesome NSV!!! 45 pounds is an amazing loss! Congratulations! You have certainly worked hard for it!
@DananaNanas I am wondering if you may be even lower. Especially since you had wine. I feel like I am always up if I drink. Sounds like a good way to start your Christmas shopping with a workout. I think it is sweet that your husband wants to keep your little tradition going. I have only been to Red Robin once but maybe you can pick out something on the healthier side before you go. Have fun!

@cyndiesstuff it stinks you had to go in today but at least the unreliable flooring guys are done. Hope next week is smoother. I need to get a better morning routine. I know that if I exercised in the am my day would go smoother.

@CassieGetsFit2013 It is very annoying. I think that everyone is having a problem with their newsfeed on their home pages. I couldn’t believe it was still down when I got on today. Just keep on logging as you usually do and hopefully it will catch up. Hope things are going well.2 -

Had a great time at heels class night but more surprisgly made it to yoga this morning... it’s been almost a year! O_o7 -
Having a good Saturday. Worked on a jigsaw puzzle - started Wednesday and it's close to finished. Went to several furniture stores today looking for end tables. Of course the ones I liked my husband didn't, so on to the next store. Five stores later we found the right one! Actually two that are similar so now to decide which one will work in the space. Then out to a late lunch (3:00 ish) - haven't done that in a while so nice treat! Still feeling full so probably just a light snack tonight. Got in over 6,000 steps shopping - already ahead of yesterday's total ;-)

Hope your all having a great weekend. Spent all day launching my “moon” kitchen. Very busy but fridge and pantry packed full of yummy treats. Finishing up tomorrow with more details. One of the perks of our home is heated ceramic floor tiles in the kitchen. I have kefir, yogurt and cheese fermenting on one of the squares. Excited to check it out tomorrow. Never made any of those before. Moon muesli humming in the dehydrater.

Yesterday I went into work at 7. The painters and I worked hard on getting my office put back together enough to open Monday. The front two offices are done now so we will be able to reopen on monday. The painters just have to finish the back half of the building. I worked 6 hours yesterday. Two hours of that was on my knees scrubbing the adhesive off the new flooring that the flooring contractors drug thru the whole office. Then went and picked up my oldest son. Came home, he did laundry while I did plant maintenance on the plants that will go back to my office next week. Then took my son grocery shopping and then out to dinner. It was a very busy day and it flew by.

@Lyssysho26 I, like you have sworn off alcohol during the weight loss portion of my life. Maybe, when I go into maintenance I will add some back in moderation. Who knows tho, Alcohol is empty calories and I like to eat my calories. Great job staying on track.

@kirsten11872 careful of that slippery slope. You know how to do this. But if this is it and your starting again Its not a bad holiday gain. But something I have been wondering,.... "why does it go back on sooooo fast and come off so slow?"

@pacsnc6 I love working jigsaw puzzles. I got one for christmas one time that was two sided. It had one puzzle picture on one side of the pieces and another picture on the other side. I tried everything to put that puzzle together. I couldn't do it. I have saved it all these years as the puzzle that stumpted me!

@Mrsbell8well ohhhhh sounds like you had a fun day yesterday. I know i love my dehydrator. haven't used it much, got it at the end of harvest season this year. plan to use it much more this coming season.

I love doing jigsaw puzzles and I have one of those double sided ones. The picture (a jungle scene with lots of animals) on the reverse is the same but turned sideways. I did put it together and really wanted to keep it together but couldn't figure out how to hang it to show both sides! Fun stuff!!2 -

Day 1 on my string
Just knowing that something was going to make my long string break was motivation for me this month so I am going to restart it today hoping it continues to motivate me. Yesterday I did well, got to the gym with Shannon and ate well. Had a quiet night, went through the gifts I have already bought and found I need to get out and finish up shopping. Looked like so many packages but when you have 5 kids it thins out. I am done with 3, have more to get for 2, and then I never know what to get the hubs...I also have other people to buy for too that I have no idea...Ugh! Today I am going to lunch and a Christmas show so I need to get moving. I am going to do a Leslie Sansone tape since I know I won't be getting a lot of steps during the day. Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend!
