I tried my hand again at making bread in my bread machine and it was a success. I made an orange cranberry pecan bread. I made sure my water was warm and this was the result.

Unfortunately I did not get to taste it due to my fast but my sister and hubby said it was good. I am going to try and make my low carb bread this evening and hope it comes out as good as this one.

Thanks, I was so excited when it turned out right and didn't collapse when I took it out of the machine. I am pretty sure now that it was the water temperature being too cold that caused my first fail. I will not make that mistake again.

My fasting is going pretty good. I had some off feeling today, a little light headed at times so I drank some earl grey tea and I am feeling better. I will continue with the fast and have a small early meal in the morning like I did last month and have my main meal later in the day.

LOVE IT!!!! I'm still on fasting day number one - ie I'm not far enough into it to be having fun yet :D:D:D

I should've just done a 96 hour with you this week, because I really had no interest in eating last night (except the jello and popsicles...those I kinda wanted BUT WOULD HAVE BEEN FINE WITHOUT LOL)

My fast won't be a full 96 hours since I will be eating early tomorrow. It will be a good 80+. I will get the exact number of hours from my fastrac app and will post it tomorrow.

The Low Carb Bread came out much better this time around. I had Bible Study last night at church so I wasn't home when it finished baking and it stayed in the machine on the warm setting for about 40 minutes and I think the moisture caused the top to get a little soft or something, but at least it was a loaf that I could make real sandwich bread slices with. Here are the photos.

I didn't get to taste the bread last night but my sister did and she said it was good so I will be having the two slices photographed for my break fast meal as an egg and bacon sandwich in about 45 minutes or so.

As posted in yesterday's MM post, the nachos did hurt my weight this morning. I know it is just my glycogen stores refilling after my fast and low carb eating but geez o peez. Well anyway on to today's official weigh-in.

    164.8 pounds

This weight made for a 2.7 pound loss for the week. I am aiming for a goal weight of 160 pounds next week.

Today was a good day. I also had a bulletproof coffee around 10:30 this morning. I remembered my ACV today.

I am hoping for a loss in the morning. My goal for this week is to have losses each day.

I appreciate your seriousness and love for fasting. Look forward to seeing your progress. You inspired me through some tough spots in the Fall.

Thoughts: I am all caught up on my MM posts from the weekend, but am so not happy with the results. This weekend was very carb heavy and the pounds just added on. I don't know what to say at this point.

OK, so today I woke up to a scale weight of 170.7 pounds. :#:s:'( . I am really at a loss for words at this point. By now I should know not to let these fluctuations get to me, but this just feels like a major gut punch right now.

To put things in perspective, my goal for the week was to be at 160 pounds on Friday which I thought should not be an issue seeing that I was 164.8 just this past Friday and I had hoped to lose during the week but so far there have been only gains.

I still want to be at 160 pounds on Friday so I have 10 pounds to lose but I am perplexed at how to go about doing it and being able to keep my results. My immediate thoughts are to do a water fast today, a low calorie/low carb/no carb day tomorrow and a water fast on Thursday. I believe this will get me real close but I am afraid that as soon as I eat some carbs again, the weight will come right back. I want to be able to lose weight without having to depend on the extended fast and low carb eating.

I think after this week, for the last two weeks of MM, I will not do any water fast days and just go with regular OMAD and see what happens. I will just stick to my monthly 3 day fast and let that be the extent of my extended fasts and just do regular OMAD fasting. I believe consistency and sustainability is the key for me.

So the plan is: Today: Water Fast........Tomorrow: Basic OMAD.........Thursday: Water Fast..... and from then on Basic OMAD with the exception of my 3 day fast at the beginning of each month.
