Yesterday I got some items I was wanton but still managed to stay in my calories. Specifically I went to Dairy Queen but instead of having a medium or a large blizzard I got a mini. I was particularly proud of myself because I've been trying to make better decisions. If we want to lose and maintain we have to make better eating choices for the long term. I am just starting to figure that does not mean depriving myself all the time but it does mean having smaller portions and letting this be my new normal.7 -

Calories - 260 over. Same as yesterday - high fat but okay carbs. I'm craving crunchy carbs for a few days now - I think because I'm sleeping badly and am feeling tired all day. Anyway, at least I channelled the craving into fats and proteins instead. Hope I can stay under tomorrow at least.

Comments: Dad brought me general tso tofu with crab rangoons (my favorite!) because I was feeling under the weather. Instead of eating the entire thing like usual, I weighed it out. After eating my portion, I was still super-hungry and was tempted to just eat the rest and not log it. But, I told myself to just get another measured-out portion. I still went over my goal, but I feel like I made some good progress today.3
