Looks like my new scale is calibrated a little differently than my old one. I'd expected to have a loss this week. I suspected that my old scale was weighing me a little 'light.' I will NOT let this number on the scale get me down! Disappointed for the team though.5 -

Weigh in Week 1 - Friday
PW: 129.8kg (286.1lbs)
CW: 129kg (284.3lbs)
Loss of .8kg (1.8lbs).
Happy with that but feel like I haven't really earnt it. Been a crappy and stressful week, kids gave me their cold and my asthma is playing up so haven't really been motivated to check in every day. Will hopefully start feeling better soon and will be back to my old self :-)6 -

Weigh in Day, Friday

My vacation has definitely set me back a ways. I really want to get to 155 by months's end. That's just 7 lbs but the weekends kill me. I think I'd doing everything right but the weight either climbs a pound, creeps down .5 pound or stays put. My calories are under or at goal everyday and I'm exercising 2 - 3 times a week. I know my water intake is dismal (24 to 32 oz a day). Can water really make THAT much of a difference? It feels like two steps forward, one step back. I don't seem to be making much progress. I think I need to do something differently - I guess, increasing my water would be one.

I think it is worth mentioning that "woo" is actually a negative emoji/response. I know it is hard to see on some devices but it isn't what, I am assuming, some people think it is. It is not a wohoo. It is more like a boo. @benbowers you ROCKED this week.3

@lk2011 Thank you! X 😁
Also thank you for letting us know about woo not being wohoo. What's worrying me is I've been woo'ing people when I thought I wohoo'ing! I feel a bit woo now!!😂2 -

Sad sad day. I noticed my bathroom scale was slightly on my floor mat. When I readjusted it I weighed 3 pounds heavier, so I'm not doing as well as I thought. BUT I got blood work on Wednesday done and was ecstatic to see all my numbers in the normal/healthy range.5 -
Question of the week:
Getting pregnant has always been my primary reason, early late year I lost almost 30 pounds in prep, but a huge move and life change and depression set me way back. A few weeks ago I got sick after drinking soda and became scared I may be pre-diabetic. So this time I'm trying really hard to get my health back on track not only to have a healthy pregnancy but to also just be able to live a healthy long life.3 -
@debbie14892 I'm right there with you this week!
@ketch_22 Me too.
@leni1us Great weigh in! Yes, water can cause a huge gain/loss. I have to monitor my sodium very closely because I am very susceptible to water retention. 3000mg of Na can be a +/- 6lbs on the scale for me.
@benbowers Getting really close to Onederland!!
@12774 @shanteel612 very nice day you two!
@lk2011 Awesome payoff for your week of hard work!!
@mrs1spy I have your weigh in day as Wednesday and I already have a weight for you this week. I this wrong? Do I need to change it?
@rekvar12 @benbowers You two are killing it on the consistent walk/runs!! Keep it up!
@porkchopsandapple Congrats on that bloodwork!!2 -
