    Hey everyone! Sorry I went MIA for a little bit. I’m back and feeling motivated! I’m not sure if I can continue with June or if I need to wait until July as I believe I missed a few weigh ins. Either way I hope to check in regularly 🙂

    @Keepingtrack1234

    Thanks for saying, "Look at how self-reflective you are!" I really try to think things through.
    Now the next step is working harder at changing my unhealthy habits and sticking with new healthy habits instead of constantly reverting back to my bad behaviours! :s
    I know what to do but the challenge for me is actually doing it!

    I find that it's important to remind myself what I have still accomplished on weeks when I have gained or made bad choices. This helps me to keep pushing on.

    I don't have a thyroid so I am on medication daily. I had to have surgery to have my thyroid removed as I had nodules and my mom had thyroid cancer and they were only able to biopsy 1 nodule and it didn't have cancerous cells but active cells that were the same kind that my mom had and could become cancerous so I finally agreed to have the surgery. I, however, could never "blame" my weight loss on my thyroid as when I asked the endocrinologist he said my thyroid functioned fine it was the "make up" of my thyroid that was the problem as it had nodules sooooo that being said, I learned that my weight gain was all my fault, lol, from all my unhealthy eating and stress and being too busy to make healthy meals and hating cooking, etc... It boiled down to it was all me so I was the one who had to make some changes and better choices going forward if I wanted to lose the weight which is what I have been doing now but I still have a long way to go but some movement is better than no movement!

    NSV....
    I've been wearing knit pants for so long, you know you can just pull them down when need to. This weekend I was able to wear pants with a zipper I just pull them down, Then I realized I never unzipped my pants. Looks like I can go shopping for a smaller size.

    Since it's Wednesday, it's time for our last weekly challenge. Because this is the last week of the month we will only do this challenge through Saturday. How vital do you think it is to weigh and measure everything you eat or drink each day? Do you currently do that, or do you wing it? I'm trying to get into the habit of weighing and measuring everything accurately.

    The challenge that starts today until Saturday is:

    Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes?
    Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day?
    Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank?
    Gutbusters Weekly Challenge:
    Did I faithfully measure and log everything I ate or drank?
