August Week 2
PW: 137.2 pounds
CW: 138.0 pounds
Gained 0.8 pounds.
Not surprised as since my last Wednesday weigh in I ate a vanilla caramel drumstick, 2 pepperoni and bacon Pizza Pops, Kit Kat Chunky Bar, M & M chocolate covered peanuts, bacon, burgers, and other junkfood.
However, I did a good job with making myself exercise since my last Wednesday weigh in as I walked outside a lot of days.
Plus, I lost 2.3 pounds between Sunday and Wednesday as on Sunday I weighed 140.3 pounds, likely from all the unhealthy food I had been eating and by Wednesday I had gotten that back down to 138.0 pounds.
It was a huge bummer to see the 140s again as I had not weighed in number in the 140s since April 19th so I ruined a 15 week record of being out of the 140s.
On a whole, still down 32.1 pounds from my highest weight.
8 pounds to go to achieve my goal weight.
These last 8 pounds are proving to be a challenge, not just because it can be harder to lose weight once you are closer to your goal weight but also because I can't stick with healthy habits and routines!6 -

I had such a great day. Worked this morning then met my friend for swimming in my other friend's pool. Such a relaxing time. We were there for three hours and I'm guessing I was moving in the pool for an hour. Then, left there and drove straight to my water aerobics and did a mean burn in the pool there. My muscles are screaming, but such a good scream!!
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes, swimming this afternoon for 60 minutes with my friend; then water aerobics tonight for 90 minutes (45 minutes aerobics, 45 minutes pool walking before/after)

Well that is neither good nor bad, but I'll take it.3 -
@sarahmcurry -- some advice I received from a very wise person -- reframe by acknowledging the things done well. Reframing isn't ignoring "needs improvement" but acknowledging it wasn't all "bad" and maybe even celebrating the wins -- built in benefit to reframing is motivation. Not an easy task but very helpful for finding the silver lining. Hope week 3 finds you re-energized and looking for the wins.

@SuzanneElizabeth16, you've got this, girl!!
@sarahmcurry, sorry you're seeing a gain. Drink that water, measure everything, log accurately, get the exercise in (walking, swimming, whatever you will stick to) and you'll see a change. Don't give up and don't give in!!
@tuddy315, what's going on? Do you know what needs to change? Talk to us, friend!
@motis3678, I am so happy for you!! Congratulations!!
@audreypawdrey, what a walk!! That's incredible!!1 -

For the rest of the week I’m going to stay away from alcohol.
I normally don’t drink but have been on vacation for two weeks and I negatively affect what I eat as I try to still stay within my calorie allotment 🙈 eat less to fit in a beer or two2 -

In full discourse, when I got back from vacation I was shocked to find that I was 203 Ibs. Strangely my friends notice my weight loss, even though I gained weight! I was so disappointed. My brother had to talk me off the ledge. He convinced me that weight loss is "a marathon and not a race". So I got back on the wagon on Tuesday. I have been working out, eating protein, salade, and drinking water. Today I am 196.8 pounds. I am thrilled. I am beyond happy. I held the line. I did eat some good stuff on vacation ... me bad... But positively, I exercised by walking into town every day. (no...I never went swimming) Today I feel fabulous!
