No need for all that unless you want to "announce" on your feed that you have completed your diary. Your diary stays intact whether you "complete" it or not. The only thing "completion" does is give you the (bogus) 5 week projection and announce to your newsfeed. BUT you can even un-check that box in settings so diary completion no longer goes to your feed.
But I like seeing the prediction... My wife will ask me what it said. I always reply "17 pounds."4 -

Only at 20 carbs a day do I lose. And I find it incredibly hard to get up to 1,000 calories a day like MFP wants you to do in order to log your day.
The "trick" here is to add something bogus to get you over the limit. Enter the day and then delete the bogus entry. It adjusts the day, and it stays logged.
I just like the completion. I found an entry actually called “fake food” so I use that. It has no carbs/pro/fat and no nutrition but has “100 calories per cup”. It works perfectly. Yesterday I ate three cups of it! 😂8 -
I made my first fat head pizza dough and it was better than expected! i had a whole mini pizza with only 6 net carbs! This is exciting.7

I just crossed my legs!! I haven't been able to do that for years! The kicker was I did it mindlessly and didn't even realize it until I looked up!13

Went to put on a shirt, sighed, it fit but it was a bit tight. Took it off and noticed it as an XL. It fit snugly quite well. I was worried I’d gained enough to be snug in a XXL again.
That was yesterday. Today I’m fitting well in another XL. This time last year I was filling out a 4XL and 3XL were no longer fitting right.

I hate that "in 5 weeks thing". I dont log my food in MFP anymore, I use a more keto friendly app...but I still here for the community.2 -

Same here. When I log it is on Cronometer which I think is EXCELLENT. I also like a real basic one, "Stupid Simple Macros" and/or "Stupid Simple Keto". The only thing I found that is incredibly incorrect on SSM is their corn. I'm sure there are others that are really off/incorrect but I've not seen them.3 -
my NSVs : In Jan 2019 I was wearing size 20 jeans. They were baggy, but I didn't need a belt to keep them up. Today I am wearing size 14. I wore one of my older bras over the weekend and it was so loose I could have shoved some gym socks in there
The scale is still frustrating me, but these NSVs keep me going!13 -
I'm wearing an old dress of mine that I recently took in, removing about 4" off the waist/hips...and may I say, I look amazing!!!12
-
I'm wearing short-shorts and I'm not getting thigh rub!6

My NSV, lol, I don't own a scale... So all my victories are off scale.
Dropped over 3 pants sizes, over 12 inches off stomach. Progress pictures show significant body changes.
Hormones have drastically changed. Including, cysts that I've had for over 15 years are gone. IBS (bloat and pain) are gone.
I am a lifer!!!
I wanted to post progress pictures in group, but I never see anyone else do it, so I posted in general forums-success stories.4 -
@Emmapatterson1729 people do post pics here in fact I've got some buried in a thread somewhere from my first loss. It's just not as prevalent. Lol3

That I feel so confident and in control when I go to the grocery store. I check out that food label and even say ‘nope’ out loud when I see something that looks okay and has high carbs. The ‘healthy food’ section is all sugar lol
That I can wear t-shirts now without wearing one of my tanks under them to make them longer. And don’t worry about anything too blubbery showing when I sit/walk etc.
That my fitness tracker is telling me I’m getting 5+ hours of sleep sleep a night and I feel rested even with 6 hours. Though I usually try to get 8 if the kids will let me
My skin is glowing. To the point where I’ve had to decide whether or not I should even put makeup on. I think it makes my skin not look as good - but I love doing up my eyes So just go with it.
My shoes are fitting better and I have some Hot Chocolate design heals I’ve barely worn since it wasn’t fun to wear heals. Hoping that will change soon.
Most of my leg aching has gone away. Not sure if diet or all the walking I do. But I’ll take it!2 -
About a month and a half in!! NSV inches gone, dark eye circles clearing up, skin looking clearer, arms toning up. Nothing hanging over pants!!
I love eating Keto!!!
Spots are on an old mirror, not me, lol.

@Emmapatterson1729, great work! Those before and after pics are super! I love the face pics! It took 35 lbs for me to finally notice weight loss in my face!3
-
wore bikini's over the weekend and got compliments by a friend who owns a Barre studio!! It's HUGE when other women notice!!6
-
Forgot a huge NSV.... Being able to do the towel wrapping
thing around the body after shower!! LOL
@weatherking2019 That is awesome!!! Yes, it is great when you get a compliment from a female!! It feels more sincere. (Seriously and sincerely not trying to offend men here).
@AbbieOffman Thanks, I've been in total shock taking progress pictures!5 -
Love hearing all the non scale victories.
Mine is, I have been keto long enough now that I never track my food anymore. I always hated doing it, but did because how else are you gonna know what you ate? Now I know what to eat, how much (I still use my digital scale, and most importantly for me, when to eat.6 -
When I hold up my pants, i don't feel like i'm looking at a tent. Size 14 is so much smaller than 20!!9
-
A bittersweet NSV...today I am wearing one of my favorite dresses and it's baggy on me...I think it's still ok for a while, but eventually it's going to be big enough that I'm not going to want to wear it...but it's one of my favorites!4
-
Ya, baggie dress is a REAL PROBLEM, we all wish we had. Time to find a new favorite, smaller one or a good tailor to cut it down for you.2

@Emmapatterson1729 You skin looks fabulous. Congrats on your successes.1

@AbbieOffman I wanted to mention:
Thanks!!! I feel like keto reversed the clock on my hormones, which is helping skin! (Battled with hormones for 20 years now). I don't think it's as much weightloss showing in face as it is hormones. I could feel significant hormonal changes just one week in.
Day one, I can see testosterone levels were probably way up.

My nsv is being able to wear beautiful summer pants which I couldn’t zip up last summer. It certainly stops me from eating any extra carbs after my meals.7

I've noted before about how nobody noticed I lost weight and I hadn't changed clothing sizes. Took a combined total of 38.5 lbs before somebody noticed. lol But now people all the time tell me I look like I've lost weight. I think for those body changes to be noticeable, on some of us it requires a fair amount of weight to be gone before it's apparent to anyone else.
And I bought a lovely pair of suit pants and a jacket in March that no longer fit. so I am finally changing sizes too. lol Which is so irritating but delightful at the same time? ug. To the Tailor I go!8 -
So we've only been back on the LCHF / keto thing for like, 11 days now I think? Already noticed some differences like I'm sure we lost a bunch of water weight & stuff. Tho we're not weighing, just going by what we see & how clothes fit & stuff.
But yesterday someone else noticed too! Got told, we're looking happier & healthier than we have in like the past year!
So, pretty happy & feeling good about that!8 -
NSV! I can see my body changing 😁 the scale might not move much and I still wear the same size as I did 20 pounds ago, slightly more comfortable in the clothes but still the same size. I have noticed my skin has improved, much better face rash, like barely any flare ups and my skin is less dry even though it’s colder. My mood swings are almost non existent and my anxiety is 1000 times better. It’s amazing how food can be so life changing! 🥺10
