Ok, the reason I picked a Friday weigh-in is because I overindulge on the weekends and need the 5 days to re-coup! So, wish me luck as we venture into Saturday

Weigh in Day/Week: Friday, November - Week 2

CW= 161
I've been lifting heavy the past 2 weeks and I have been up and down 4-5 lbs each week---mostly water retention. My clothes are a little looser this week though and I'm seeing a bit of change in my tone now. Still I'm happy with the overall downward climb... 1 lb from my base weight and 6 lbs from my goal.

Happy with the loss after surviving three birthday cakes and missing two days of workouts. Wife's birthday tomorrow, she wants a small party just with immediate family. However, my youngest son and his wife decided they wanted to announce their gender reveal (first child) at the party, so now it's looking like over 50 guests.

1. Stay under my calorie goal (currently 1770) ✔1612
2. Get 5,000 steps a day✔ 10,256
3. No eating out ✔
4. Exercise for at least 20 minutes a day. ✔ 30 minute walk, 17 minutes on the exercise bike followed quickly by another 15 minute walk.
5. No caffeine after 1pm (my dr's suggestion for sleep issues) X Did this on purpose. I was dragging by dinner time and I had errands to run so I grabbed a diet coke in hopes of getting my energy level up a little.

🗣Comments/Goals: Feeling like I'm fighting off a bug...been very tired and depleted today and yesterday. Have my son's bday parties set for Friday night and Saturday. Lots of food going down, so I am trying to plan ahead and choose wisely, but enjoy the moment too. Cake will be eaten!🎂🍰😋 Tonight, I made air fryer haddock strips...they were so good...my sons went nuts on them. 👌🏻😆

Way to go on your goals! I don't know how you stay "way under" on calories; I am impressed. I feel like I'm always hungry. I'm hoping I just need to give it more time to adjust.1
