Today was... hectic? I applied for a supervisor position at my job, but a different location. It is about 45 minutes away, so I'm really unsure about that. I currently have a 5 minute drive, but the raise should make up way more than the difference and my schedule would remain the same... I am on the fence about it, and I know it will be a while before I get an interview... anyways, my supervisor was teaching me some of his day-to-day stuff so I could learn more about it...
As I mentioned before, I did not run today, because it was thunderstorm.I relaxed, and didn't do anything besides make dinner. I read some of my book, only a few chapters to go before I am onto the second Game of Thrones book! I am heading to bed now, 2am comes early!
Another impressive day for you! You're doing so well with your dieting and exercise, and are so organized with it as well as other parts of your life, like making time to read, etc. I think you'd make a great supervisor! Good luck with your application!1 -

I am bummed that my little streak of being under calories has come to an end. My Mom bought some cookies yesterday, and if I'd only had 1 instead of 2 I would still be on the streak. However, if I'd had 0 then I probably wouldn't have even had the first one that led to the second. So, I've got to stop fooling myself that I can stop at 1, or at least build in some wiggle room for dessert at night. But at the end of the day yesterday, I had too few calories to spare.2 -
@richmondwriter Don't beat yourself up, no one can stop at 1 cookie, especially if it's chocolate chip! You are right though about building it in to your plan for the day. Every day I have something chocolate, whether it's a bag of fun size M&Ms (bought for this purpose) or 5 candy kisses. I need that little treat. My husband doesn't understand why I can't buy the 5lb bag of Ms from BJ's rather than the Fun size. I need the portion control. This BTW is from the man who can (and has) eaten a whole half gallon of ice cream in one sitting.2

@cmhubbard92 Good luck with the job! Don't worry about the commute, CT is such a pretty state to drive through. When I lived in Norwich I was a travelling teller for CT Bank & Trust. I used to drive from Norwich down to Madison, Clinton, Deep River, etc. every day and loved it.1

Hi TBBT, This week has gone so fast. can't believe it's Thursday all ready! I'm back at work.....well back at the kitchen table which is now my desk .
The weather here has been horrid. The rain just keeps on falling, but at least it's not cold.
I'm gonna add some strength training/body weight excercises into my routine. Has anyone got any reccomendations?
Have a good day all

Terrific job at meeting your goals!! Hope the weather is better soon. I've liked body sculpting, barre and pilates classes. Body pump is a fun class, but it involved too much change of equipment for me.1 -

Those are all good classes but they assume that her gym is open, mine is not. There are a lot of good, free, YouTube videos out there Victory Lady and Darebee come to mind. Also, Peloton has so much more than just cycling workouts, they have strength, yoga, cardio, meditation, running, stretching, bootcamp and walking programs.0 -

I'm really tired today. Wearing a mask while moving pallets around is exhausting! I am so ready for it to be the weekend... hopefully, tomorrow goes quickly. I wanted to run today, so bad! But it was 93 when I got out of work, and extremely humid! I am thinking that I may not get the chance until Saturday morning 😞 I am doing it this weekend!!! I will check in with you all tomorrow!!!2 -

Not a good day. Woke up with an upset stomach that really messed me up. As much as I wanted to squeeze in a walk I didn’t think that not feeling good and walking in 90 degree temperature with humidity was a good idea.
I also forgot to weigh in so I will do that in the morning4 -
