Hi TBBT, This week has gone so fast. can't believe it's Thursday all ready! I'm back at work.....well back at the kitchen table which is now my desk :( .
The weather here has been horrid. The rain just keeps on falling, but at least it's not cold.
I'm gonna add some strength training/body weight excercises into my routine. Has anyone got any reccomendations?

Terrific job at meeting your goals!! Hope the weather is better soon. I've liked body sculpting, barre and pilates classes. Body pump is a fun class, but it involved too much change of equipment for me.

Those are all good classes but they assume that her gym is open, mine is not. There are a lot of good, free, YouTube videos out there Victory Lady and Darebee come to mind. Also, Peloton has so much more than just cycling workouts, they have strength, yoga, cardio, meditation, running, stretching, bootcamp and walking programs.

@murdog3t I hope you are back to self care today! 💜 It really is a bummer when you can't do what you know you need to do!

I'm really tired today. Wearing a mask while moving pallets around is exhausting! I am so ready for it to be the weekend... hopefully, tomorrow goes quickly. I wanted to run today, so bad! But it was 93 when I got out of work, and extremely humid! I am thinking that I may not get the chance until Saturday morning 😞 I am doing it this weekend!!! I will check in with you all tomorrow!!!

Not a good day. Woke up with an upset stomach that really messed me up. As much as I wanted to squeeze in a walk I didn’t think that not feeling good and walking in 90 degree temperature with humidity was a good idea.
I also forgot to weigh in so I will do that in the morning

Thank you to all who have prayed for me I get to return to work🤪. I know it sounds crazy returning to health care in the middle of a pandemic. I know that God has a plan. Once I get back then I’ll decide retire in August or November..... but it will be my choice not my jobs.

Wondering if anyone can help me understand something. Yesterday about this time I had about 8K steps and MFP said I had earned 242 exercise calories. Similar to right now, I have 8,989 steps and 258 exercise calories. Last night I went for a bike ride and burned 625 calories (as determined by endomondo, which is similar to map my ride), however at that time my Fitbit calories dropped to 42. At the end of the day I had 18,737 steps and was up to 99 Fitbit calories. Why did I lose 150 exercise calories??

@DaffyGirl88, all I know is that Fitbit was having trouble syncing with MFP during the latter half of yesterday. So much so, that I manually changed my activity level to "lightly active" when I had over 6,000 steps and it had me stuck just under the 4,000 mark. It eventually caught up by day's end. At 18,000 plus steps, you shouldn't be losing any exercise calories!!

@HASWLRS Thanks! I didn't pay any attention on Wednesday to see what the additional exercise calories were before my ride. I just struck me as odd that my calories decreased. I would think once I've earned them they'd be there, and then new ones would be added to that figure. I tried asking Mr. Google but he was no help. LOL

    Week 1 - 186.5
    Week 2 - 187.3

I have been up and down this week. I was glad that I had went back down since yesterday but disappointed that I went above last week. Too good of food over the weekend. And My tummy has been out of sorts..I think from the heat and not drinking enough water. I am trying to drink more water. But it really upsets my stomach more.

So sorry team. I've been avoiding posting here because I'm ashamed of myself! We went out of town last weekend and then my week just spiraled out of control. I'm trying to get back on track, but it's always a struggle. I was reading through some of the posts and saw people mention "undoing the damage" and that is definitely what I'll be doing 😔 It's so frustrating when I can't make any real progress because I seem to be in the same cycle. But I also know I only have myself to blame. Tomorrow is my wedding anniversary (12 years!) so my diary probably won't be great. Also, the weather here is HOT! It's been over 100* everyday this week, and Sunday and Monday are supposed to be up to 107* 🥵 I think I need to start waking up early to get workouts in.

Congratulations on your anniversary, mine is next month too ( 8 years) time is running 😃 and don’t forget to drink a lot of water it really maKes difference!
