Yesterday was a beautiful day 🌞 a little chilly but, very nice. Enjoyed some time outside by myself. My right kidney was hurting more yesterday than it does this morning, so I only got around 2,000 steps in. Was told to drink more water, was drinking around 67 fl oz already, but increased to 144.9 fl oz,. I'm going to try to drink one gallon of water daily, (128 fl oz) starting yesterday. Hopefully, this will help flush out my kidneys and they will feel better. 😊
Hope everyone has a good day/night. 🏵️5 -

Well that's the wrong direction. Not surprised though because Wednesday became a total boredom/frustration/napping-prompted binge fest. I ate pretty much everything in my cabinet and fridge. Alas. Must be better next week.6 -
@jugar,
Letting you know that I won't be logging into mfp again until after the holidays.
I'll still be trying to lose weight and walk as much as I can, but my main go will be to enjoy the season of celebrations that's coming up over the next few weeks.
Relaxation and peace will be what I'm going to be concentrating on over the holidays with less stress and more fun.
Wish everyone much success on your journey and that you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving 🦃 🥧 and a very Merry Christmas 🎅🎄🤶🎁 and a Happy New year! 🎉🎊7 -

This was actually yesterday’s weight. I won’t have access to a scale today.
We moved into Edmonton yesterday to be closer to our son’s hospital. At first we were driving back and forth but we had two really bad winter weather trips so we will be staying at his condo for now.
His condition has improved a little but they still can’t locate the source of the infection and until they do he can’t be discharged because it is continuing to spill bacteria into his blood stream.
Next time I’m home I’ll try to remember my scale.7 -

We'll miss you! I will put you on the "support team" so that you can still drop in to read messages and post if you feel like it, and then when you are ready to start up again, if you'd still like to hang with us, all you need to do is post an "I'm back!" message and you'll be ready to go. Any time. Have a lovely season of celebrations, and enjoy everything that comes your way.CanadianGiraffe wrote: »We moved into Edmonton yesterday to be closer to our son’s hospital. I'm having "meh" day - for the first time in ages, I started a workout and actually packed it in after a few minutes. Just did NOT want to do it. I did some Pilates and stretches, but there was no strength or anything happening today. At least I started! That is usually the hard part, so I am happy to just let go of it for today. It's Friday the 13th after all...
Wishing you all a lovely day anyhow5 -
@Terytha it can get really old always focusing on weight loss. You are getting so close to your goal weight. What a great time to practice maintaining over the holidays. You can get back to it when the mood strikes you. I think the season changes and the shorter days can really impact the mood 😌 Hang in there and snuggle that kitty 😺
@canafiangiraffe Sounds like a few improvements for you guys even if small. Hugs to you
@jugar I have days like that too. I do think starting is the hardest. If you aren't feeling it, take a break. You will be at it again soon.
We have gotten a decent amount of snow and we're out of power. We have our generator going and the wood stove is doing it's thing. Helped my husband clear snow this morning. Lifted weights this afternoon. I'm lifting on a 5 day schedule. I lift tomorrow and then have Sunday off. Hopefully everyone is having a good day!6 -

@travelingalone1 Wishing you a wonderful stress free holiday season. Remember all you have learned. Do the best you can each day and enjoy your celebrations. See you after the holidays.
@CanadianGiraffe So glad you are not commuting back and forth. You have enough stress to deal with and you need to rest and take care of yourself too. Glad to hear your son is doing somewhat better. Praying they soon find the source of the infection.
@jugar Even the best of us can have a “meh” day. You are a mighty woman and certainly entitled to a day like today. I have absolute faith in you that tomorrow will be a better day.
@conleywoods You always amaze me with how well you roll with whatever comes your way. No power...again? But look at you all self sufficient and stuff. 😘😉 Just the same, I Hope you have power back soon.
Didn’t log throughout the day but filled in my log at the end of the day. I reached my 9k step goal and took a 34 Minute walk. Overall, I think the week went pretty well. I haven’t been near the scale so we’ll see where we are tomorrow at weigh in. I did give myself a little self care under eye bags treatment tonight. I have no idea if it helped. 😂 But they were pretty gold colored eye masks. Planning a morning walk with my former teaching partner in the am.
Have a good night all!5 -
@travelingalone1 enjoy your holiday season!!
@CanadianGiraffe glad you are able to be closer to your son!0 -
Steps today 10,724
We ordered stuffed deep dish pizza for dinner and I ate lunch from the work cafeteria instead of bringing from home. So, I had a very unhealthy and super sodium packed kinda day. But, if I factor in my exercise adjustment I should still be within my calorie goal today. Drinking lots of water, and I do have leftover pizza for tomorrow but I'll make sure all my other choices are healthier.4 -

I am happy with that, last week was a big loss for me (2.6lbs) so staying the same is fabulous... In past experiences, normally I would have went up a bit, so in my eyes this is just as good as a loss...lol...
Today we are going for our blood tests, then a random road trip/adventure... but somewhere in there I have to do strength training and get 10k steps... I've earned my sticker every day this week, cant stop now...
Have a great day !!!7 -
I can’t find my weigh in post for last week. I was having issues posting and I made sure it went thru but now I can’t find it.
