Not bad, considering I have not been mindful at all since Tuesday. Today I am weighing my food, logging it, and aiming for an "under". I have skimmed through the posts, and it looks like a few of us have struggled this week, for one reason or another. Tomorrow is a new week, and a chance for a do-over.
For my medical update, I can walk, but I am doing as little as possible. It still feels tender behind the knee. I have to wait until Thursday morning for a phone call appointment from my doctor.
My injury aside, I have had an extremely disheartening week on MFP regarding someone on here I thought was a really good friend. Apparently she did not feel the same, and gave me a reason for "unfriending" me after I asked her for one. Details are not necessary, but I had thought of taking a hiatus from all social aspects of this site. However, I cannot stop thinking about what she said to me....I am even losing sleep. So, instead of retreating, I need to move forward, and put as much distance, and new posts and comments between me and her. I need to make a lot of new history on here without her, so she can become my "ancient history".
Sorry about the rant....but thank you for being my sounding board; It feels like the right decision after putting it out there.

@MelsLeanDream You are trying and it shows. The next few months are going to be challenging for many of us. Either we're going to be eating too much at family get togethers, or overindulging in comfort food because we can't get together due to COVID restrictions. Just do the best you can and remember the 80/20 rule. 😊0 -
