Happy Friyay!! Checking in before the weekend
@micki48 i hope you knee feels better today. The pictures of y’all dancing 💃🏼 in tutu’s makes me laugh. I love it. Maybe I need one, and I don’t dance. Hahah
@AshenMoon that is a success! 😄😃
@Steph1498 i agree. Our bodies are amazing.
@happimess01 Keep s the good work!
Would anyone like to join me on an Apple Watch fitness app? I’m not sure how to add each other, but we can figure it out.
Cheers!

Happy Friday!
I'm coming down with a bad case of "gotta clean this house" - I took extra vitamin C and everything, but it didn't help. So I guess I'm cleaning today! It will feel good to have everything done before next Wednesday when I'll be laid up for a while.
@micki48
You had such a great day! The team voices in the head are sometimes an exceptional and happy affliction, but too bad you got so speedy and full of energy that you smacked your knee I guess today will be an upper body exercise day. Hugs flying your way OOOOOOO
@Steph1498
Good old perimenopause. The best thing about it is that it goes away - and there is lovely tranquillity on the other side in a lot of ways. I have found my moods and general bodily swings far quieter since finishing with the menopause. It is quite nice - stability is sometimes boring, but rather a nice reward after all the previous jangling.
@happimess01
It is always good to hear your news - I enjoy the way you keep refining your dietary practices, and stay so consistent in your losses. The sign that you have less to lose is a good one for sure! Onederland will be yours after so much hard work
Enjoy the day3 -
Good morning! I almost said "It's Thursday!" Ha, It's Friday. Hurray. Just finished 14 minutes of neck and shoulder release Pilates. Need to go get my coffee and get dressed. Thanks for the well wishes. My knee is just fine...until I kneel on it. Ooof
Make it a great day everyone!!
xoxo

@evangsimmons170
Woo hoo! Good simple goals - but maybe make some kind of new dessert-like possibility so that the rebellion does not take hold. I'm partial to whole peeled grapefruit, or an apple all sliced up and decorated with a thin smear of almond butter on each slice. They are both somewhat labour-intensive and have healthy fibre, no added sugar, and they can make the meal feel complete if I'm craving dessert. If you decide to try that, plan it ahead so there is no giving in to temptation3 -

@jugar The reason I appear consistent is that I weigh once every two weeks and just divide it by half for the weekly weigh-in on here. 2 weeks means there are less chances of fluctuations and less heartache lol. Hope it's not against the rules4

Here is my Valentine's dress! I tried some hairstyles out and this is the one. My hair isn't really this long. I'm wearing my clip in extensions. It definitely makes me happy 😊
@happimess01 The two weeks thing is genius 👏
@micki48 Hope the knee gets better! By the way, I think wearing tutus is fine 🙂 I have several myself. If you start wearing it out of the house just know you've crossed the line😉
@AshenMoon I think you are doing great! Keep up the good work.13 -

@conleywoods
You have started the fashion show! Gorgeous. Now we need the tutus, rain suits for running - whatever we're wearing that makes us feel good.
Great work so far this week - let's wrap it up tomorrow and see how well we are stacking up!

@EvMakesChanges love your new handle.
@evangsimmons170 Fabulous loss! Way to get things going.
I am giving myself the day off for my steps. The strangest thing happened today. Was in the car about to take hubby to get his covid vaccine. Phone rings. I don’t know the number but answered anyway. Very unusual for me. The voice on the other side asks for me and said I missed my vaccine appointment this morning at 8am. I told her my appointment had been cancelled and I didn't know I had a new one. She asked if I had gotten an email. Nope. She said well we’re not going to have you lose it. What time is your husband’s vaccine? I told her and she made mine the same time. It was a very smooth process. I now am 1/2 way there. Yay! I did check email again. No email from them. I’m going to chalk it up to divine intervention. My husband was so much more relaxed with me by his side. 😇
So, I’m taking it easy. I am also participating in the CDCs post vax study. They check in on me daily for side effects. My daughter fixed the number so every time they text, it says “Dr. Fouci” is calling. 😂7 -

If you go under the apple fitness app (the one with the 3 rings) at the bottom there is an “S” and it says sharing click that.. at the top of the screen you will see a little person with a plus sign then you can search and add by phone number or email!! I do have an Apple Watch if anyone wants to add me you can search my email it is below... maybe if I get some friends on there I’ll be more about closing all my rings hahaha

wow was I behind. had a rough couple days this week, feeling down, and definitely some snowball effect from 1 not great meal leading to many not great meals, leaving the kitchen a mess, and letting the personal hygiene go, too. How seasonally appropriate. should have come back to this thread sooner, as there is a heap of motivation!
The last 2 days I kicked myself out of it. Did some great workouts. Got some running in. was a whirlwind of productivity at work. I have a friend who recently moved out of his parents place to live on his own and has never really shopped and cooked his own meals, so we are doing occasional virtual cooking lessons. Tonight is an egg skillet pie and home fries demonstration, which I will have for dinner today and Monday through Wed. I actually have so much planned to do today, chatting with my sister while we clean our apartments, the cooking, a catchup with a friend after dinner virtually. Hopefully means I will stay on track with eating since I'll be busy. I have 2 friends who are coming over to watch the super bowl and we will have a fun menu of snacks and dinner. So, Tuesday might not be the friendliest weigh-in but that's ok. I feel good about the rest of February. (Including a week vacation from work Feb 15-19. I need it!!!)
@conleywoods love the dress!! and the hair, real or not!
way to go for people in the green to start Feb!
@micki48 steps so far this week, count me in!
1/31: 12,972
2/1: 12,154
2/2: 12,617
2/3: 14,040
2/4: 13,175
2/5: 16,310
I've also decided, for now, that I am going to keep giving myself a monthly running goal, and up it by 1 mile a month until I get tired of running again. So, 22 miles in February. I've got 5 done already!5 -

Happy Saturday!
What a lot of green on the spreadsheet this week! Beautiful. And when it isn't green (temporarily!) there are great strategies and energy to kick right out of it, as @Kali225 so aptly puts it
Today will be Operation Clear the Road! Our private road has not been cleared yet this winter, so the taller half has to get the tractor in gear and make it possible for us to drive up the hill. I won't be walking up on Wednesday, after surgery I am sure! I'm always a bit sad when we open the road, though. I love having no car up here all winter. The walk is gorgeous, hauling the toboggan with groceries is great exercise (for the muscles, the heart, and the worst vocabulary I know in 4 languages), and it is virtuous of us not to burn the gas it takes to get the old (OLD) tractor going to run the big snowblower. But this time we have no choice, and it will be quite the project. Let's hope the tractor starts...
The best thing about having to self-isolate for the 2 weeks before this surgery is that most of my cravings have gone unsatisfied. I can't go to the store except to pick up out in the parking lot, and somehow it is easier not to order the things I am craving than it is when I actually walk past it in the store. Good behaviour enforced! I'm a bit stressed and nervous, but ice cream and baked goods are NOT going to help, right?5 -
Saturday weigh in
PW 196.5
CW 196.2
Tiny, but I’ll take it. At least it’s green.
This week, I need to be better about logging my food. I mostly logged last week, but it was a little sloppy. I wonder what one really great week of accurately logging would do for the scale? I also need to get more cardio minutes. It does wonders for burning calories.
A walk awaits me today but first a zoom call with my bestie. Wish we could hike and talk. We both got our first vaccines yesterday, so we are a little closer to getting to see each other. 😃
@Kali225 Your week sounds crazy. Glad you popped in and found your motivation. Looks like you have it under control now. I love the cooking with friends class. What a great idea and nice thing to do. 22 miles—You’ve got that! No problem.
@jugar Sending virtual hugs as you rearrange for your surgery. Wish I could’ve nearby to offer a meal or help some way. You will do great!❤️
Make it a great one friends!2 -

I managed to puppy sit while bringing a huge batch of returnable cans/bottles back for the deposits. It amounted to $4.60. Sheesh. Almost not worth the harangue.
I didn’t get much exercise but plan to walk tomorrow. My food choices have been pretty good, even with this being my “whatever” day, so with that, I’m off to bed. Happy week 2 (almost)!4 -
Let's close this week! Only 2 more weigh-ins due for today:
@ellz_runs
@Gidgitgoescrazy
And last chance for @ChiaGnome and @tschwery - are you still with us?1
