Got cha!…I am kind of “ slow” this week…..starting in the morning my diary will be open and I will be accountable!….1800 calories=1 pound loss a week!…( but I hope it is more! )3 -
Everyone is doing so well- we should all be proud just for showing up some days! It’s sticking with this for the long run that works so those of you with no huge losses- feel proud that it’s not a gain! And for those that did have solid losses ..it’s so inspiring so please keep sharing! On rough days or weeks I try and remind myself where I was even a year ago and just how far I’ve come just by simply never giving up even with forced breaks and health issues. It’s really about the whole lifestyle change..mentally and physically.4

This morning the scale said I was 232.8 lbs. That is the low I had on Jan 24th that I hadn't been able to get back down to. I am pretty happy with that. Hopefully the losses will keep coming.

Ok these are my current statistics….I am not proud of my weight gain but I am happy I have lost as much as I have!
May 28, 2019…..350+ pounds ( give or take 5 or 6 )
June, 2021…..240 pounds
Feb. 7, 2022…275 pounds
Height 5’ 9” ( or 5’ 8” )…. I am shrinking
Goal Weight 199
Age 70 ( ugh )
76 pounds to goal
Currently in a 1 pound a week deficit and eating 1750 calories daily without any exercise calories being eaten back….when I start swimming
( soon ) I plan to eat back 33% of my exercise calories and my daily deficit will continue going down as I lose weight….might increase my weekly loss to 1 1/2 pounds when I get myself mentally and emotionally stronger again…I also plan on a well planned and necessary diet break the end of May….
How’s that?5 -

Hopefully the downward trend will continue before the next hormonally-motivated stall (🤣😝), I've been stuck for a couple weeks. It's nice to see the numbers finally dropping again!4 -

I had my first week with a weight gain since I started back on my "get healthy" journey this year. I knew it would come eventually. I've been at the same weight plus or minus a pound for almost 3-weeks now. I have increased my water intake significantly so that may have something to do with it. I've been sticking to my calorie goals and exercising at least 5 days a week. I think I'm going to start paying more attention to my other macros and sodium intake and see if perhaps that will kick my metabolism back in gear.
In the meantime, I am not going to be discouraged! I've been here before and have given up when I was working hard and not seeing the scale move. I'm not going to do that this time. I know it is a process and a marathon.. not a sprint. This too shall pass. I just have to find the right combination of food and exercise to get me where I need to be. I hope everyone has a lovely weekend.

Age 40? You may best be served by comparing to the same point in your previous cycle as hormonal weight changes can easily amount to anywhere from nothing to 7+lbs with 3-5lbs probably being more common...
Weightgrapher.com which I didn't like as much as trendweight due to "advice" given, used to have a feature to visually compare to an arbitrary number of days before.
