After bouncing back and forth and coming to a stall, I decided to take a ten day maintenance break. After nine months, I was just a little tired and going over my calorie limit more often. I'm on day four and not so stressed about every detail. I changed my settings from losing 2 pounds a week (which I wasn't doing anyway) to .5 pounds a week loss, which upped my calories from 1200 to 1590. It's crazy that 390 calories can make such a difference. I'm so much more relaxed, even thought I'm still measuring and weighing my food. I'm eating back half my exercise calories as well. And...I'm down .8 pounds. This is a new low for me.
I did a maintenance break last October and it was so helpful and really jump started my body into losing mode again. I'm 35.2 pounds away from my goal weight and almost 70 pounds down. Just looking at those numbers, I'm almost 66% of the way there! I have a big trip planned in May and I'm hoping to be down another 10 pounds by then.9 -

Got you updated @Yukie_OP and thanks for reporting in...I'd left several messages in the chatroom, but I guess you didn't see those. No telling what good info you're missing out on!!
Only the Captain's can update the spreadsheet...no worries, just try to report your steps in every 2-3 days if you can. I understand we're all busy...hope you have a great upcoming weekend!

It was interesting to follow the yogurt conversation. I like most yogurt, but Greek yogurt is my favorite, and I often have it as an afternoon snack. I put about 2 ounces over fruit - usually banana & strawberries, raspberries, or mixed berries - and add a few walnuts on top for extra protein. I wish I ate cottage cheese. I’ll have to try the suggestions from @izzyred9400 above. I hear it’s a great source of protein but I remember not liking it as a teenager and haven’t really tried it since then. Thanks for the tips!
@LaurieWrobo - It’s so difficult to see our loved ones suffer. I’m sure it’s a comfort to your husband to have you there through his treatment. A friend of mine always enjoys a special lunch with another friend of ours who lives nearby just before chemo so it’s something they look forward to before the difficult recovery period. I hope there is a support group that provides your family with tips on how to prepare for symptoms like the cold hands. I row with a cancer survivors group and they are a wealth of information for one another.
Thinking of you, and wishing all the Shape Shifters well.5 -

This past week was a mess. My 15 year old has been really pushing his boundaries, and getting in trouble, so it has just been crazy and my diet has slipped. That being said, I am back on track, I ate my feelings, now im getting back on my routine, exercising, and watching my food8 -

I broke my no alcohol pledge for a visit from a friend who likes to check out new breweries.
I go back to the office officially next week, after working from home for nearly the last two years. My office is adopting a hybrid schedule, so I only need to be in Tues-Thurs. I've been waking up earlier in the mornings to hopefully adopt quicker to this change and still be able to get a workout in.5 -

Back to losing after plateauing for a while, so I suspect there's a lot of water weight loss here.8
