I really need to move more, I have been in a funk and really struggling, I did go to yoga last night, so that was good.

@angmarie28 I had 5,885 recorded on the 9th...replaced it with the 6,788, correct?

My sister and I work in the same area/city so we have started carpooling & playing tennis (after work) on Wednesdays. Yesterday was our 2nd week. A fun activity for us which should work well (commitment-wise) since it's only 1 day of the week.

Good morning Shape Shifters. As promised, I had another lazy day. I did 'do' two things though. The first one was swapping out my curtains. When I moved here, I painted nearly the whole house and I bought matching curtains for my bedroom. The material is pretty thin though, so it does a really bad job at blocking light. Considering my sleep has been bad lately, I decided to put up the light blocking curtains I still had from my previous house. It doesn't look as nice, but I don't see that when I am sleeping anyway. It has only been one night, but I think it makes a big difference. I still wake up at 5 because of the birds, at which point I put in earplugs. My sleep isn't really great after that and I keep waking up every 20 or so minutes. I will make it a priority to be in bed by 21:00 so I get enough rest; even with wonky sleep after 5 in the morning.
The second thing I did was hang up 3 new beehotels! I already have 3 insect hotels, but there are so many bees, all the holes are full or being worked on. I really like watching them work on closing the tunnels so I decided to get 3 small hotels for bees only. The nice thing about the new ones is that they have trays, so you can pull them out and clean them. The bad thing is that all the holes are the same size. In my experience, they can be a bit fussy and will try out several tunnels to see which they like best. So I am curious to see how long it takes them to start using the new houses. I will share some pictures for those interested under the spoiler.
    Happy Friday everyone <3

Happy Friday all...good morning @Pupowl so do you collect the honey as well...one of those pics looked like something that might collect it so it made me curious. I'm so scared of them that I couldn't do this, but what an awesome idea to be able to watch and study them...that would be fascinating I admit!

I'm up and walking this morning extra early as today starts my Virtual 5k...I knocked out 1.31 miles so far, but have to head to work now. Will likely finish it tomorrow, but it's a healthy start considering how my feet have been lately. I'm having to take it more slowly than my last one I walked in, because of my plantar mess. They're whining at this point, but not screaming, so that's good...hoping it won't feel much worse at the office. Cheer me on guys!! That will help!

Hope ya'll have a great day!

I’ve been wanting to support the bees 🐝 so I appreciate the information and photos you shared @Pupowl. An acquaintance of mine keeps bees and it seemed like a lot of work and some expense because she has multiple trays and bee keeper protective gear. I didn’t know about the lower maintenance option. I’m going to look into it. My husband spends more time in the garden - and also likes the idea of being a helpful steward of bird and bee life - so I’ll consult with him about it, too.

@izzyred9400 - I’m still hoping you can convince your son to post the video of your kitchen dance!

I’m with you for some dancing 💃 while I clean the house today. It’s always a mood lifter to turn up the music and dance while cleaning. Nobody wants to see pictures of it though!!

Oh, what I do is very low key! It's not the type you get honey from. These are all solitary bees so they don't belong to a colony and they aren't aggressive at all either. You can stand right in front of the boxes and they will keep ignoring you. I just like to help them out a little bit because they are important pollinators.

I am feeling so overwhelmed today, My boss is retiring today so it is a bitter sweet day. She is a truly great person and I will miss her so much. There will be lots of hugs and tears, and we still have to try and do our job and serve the public lol
My son is Graduating High School, and this weekend is his grad. I am so not ready, where did my baby boy go? I'm happy and sad at the same time, today and this weekend is going to be an emotional rollercoaster, I see a couple glasses of wine in my future.
    Have a great weekend everybody.

I haven't been great with exercising this week, which actually helped with my cravings (plus getting plenty of protein.) My allergies are going crazy right now and I'm very busy at work. I finally decided to get my allergies tested, and will be starting on allergy shots in a couple weeks so I'll eventually feel more normal.

Angioedema, hives, prednisone, and TOM. I am pretty sure that this water weight is really low for my general situation.

    Hi-

I am curious if I can be moved to inactive for awhile? Or removed and can rejoin later?

I'm struggling with staying motivated and no movement on the scale for weeks is really frustrating. I just don't feel like my heart is in this right now. I know it's probably tied to lots of other things going on my world and I hope to rediscover that excitement and enthusiasm I once had.

    Thank you,
    Marni

@JenHul I’m with you on the graduation. My oldest finishes high school this year as well. Grad isn’t until the end of June here, Prom this weekend though. She isn’t going though, not her thing.

@Marni3369 I will move you to the support team, so that you can take a break from the scale, but I encourage you to get involved in either the step challenge or in our weekly group challenges, which are always different each week and the group is so varied and supportive, I think you'd get more motivated and it would help you get things moving again. When you get stagnant on the losses, it usually means you need to do something to shake things up...you're body has grown complacent with your current routine...this can be something simple like adjusting water intake, changing your exercise routine, walking a little more, getting a step tracker if you don't use one, changing something in your diet...just something your body isn't used to to shake it back into fat burning mode.

We are HERE for you...take advantage of your support system here...it just requires logging in and posting on occasion...soaking up the wisdom of others traveling the same road and perhaps posting on occasion. The more you put in, the more you'll get out...TRUST ME!

If I can personally be of help, please let me know. And when you're ready to get back to work in a few weeks or a month, just let me know and we will welcome you back as fast as you can say, "I'm back...".

Take care of yourself...and don't be a stranger.

Crappy nights sleep plus introduction of a lot of walking methinks led to a lower weigh in. Clothes have definitely felt a little different.

Hi @Jax_Grim ...I figured out what happened...during your last weigh in, the MODS picked up your PW as your CW. I reported it and changed it, but that threw me off...when I went to update this week's data, I used last week's slot. It's all been fixed now. Apologies, but thanks for letting me know.
