Dear Bradley's Stomach, Your excuse has been granted. Vacation weeks are where you get to relax and enjoy life. Just know that vacation weeks end, and that you will need to readjust to well-controlled (but still delicious) portions and keep the rest of the body feeling great. Absolutely all of those parts are counting on you. They love it when you (and the brain) keep it together. Enjoy!
@kellie_erin What a good week! 2.1 pounds gone, and that much closer to getting back to the 180s. You'll make it soon!
@bobagurl2017 Hall pass granted! See note above to Bradley's Stomach, and have a great time!@jugar How do you do your garden tomatoes? I may need to do something with mine. 🍅
@Shawtytel hang in there! You lost a lot for a while, so a plateau is normal. You'll be ready to get back at it now - just go back to careful logging and all the things. You need a while to adjust to a new level before keeping the downward direction going.

Strong showing team Waistaways!! Amazing job.. way to go.
Brad and I are on our way home. It will be a later arrival - just time to unpack and start laundry. Brad has a work trip to Lloydminster tomorrow so it's going to feel rushed. I won't get back onto the Peloton today but I do plan to get back on it tomorrow. Can't wait!!
I feel bloated and I've been getting heartburn the last couple of days (not usual for me!) from all the excess. The vacation was awesome but as @jugar said.. time to get back to the what makes the body and mind happy!!
Final exercise stats for last week:
9/16: 5759 steps
9/17: 4306 steps + 18 minutes outdoor cycling4 -

@ashleycarole86 Happy homecoming - that heartburn will be banished in no time once you get back to your usual fare. Poor Brad having to leave immediately on a work trip - salads for you Mr. @bowens1973 ! No more complaints from Bradley's Stomach, please You'll both be Pelotoning your way to bliss soon.
I wish I could invite you all over to share the gigantic batch of ratatouille with white beans that I made today. It isn't really a traditional ratatouille (it has fresh corn in it) but it is so delicious. Everything is from my garden but the onion and corn, and those came from a neighbour. I love putting in chickpeas or white beans so it is a good protein and a complete meal in one bowl. My son came over for dinner, but he and the tall guy had burgers instead of my fantastic meal. Poor dears... Luckily my son did not bring ice cream with him, as he tends to do. My halo is firmly in place
So after such a fabulous week 2, let's keep on going for week 3! We can build a streak, yeah? Even for those of you who are feeling stuck, the gains have been very small. Keep up the great work!
I need an extra long bike session tonight. It poured down rain all day, so the steps are pretty sad. Here is my week 2 for you @ashleycarole86 --
Sunday - 13,072 + bike 30
Monday - 9012 + Pilates 30 + bike 45
Tuesday - 9560 + Pilates 30 + bike 50
Wednesday - 10,018 + Pilates 25 + bike 35
Thursday - 10,260 + bike 45
Friday - 12,908 + Pilates 15 + bike 45
Saturday - 8839 + nuthin! all day in the garden...

Wow awesome job team!!
Finally checking in - going to recommit this week to daily check-ins here. just have to put it on the to-do list and I will be compelled to check it off.
Quick update from me - I have had a few better days in a row. Don't want to count my chickens early but I am feeling better mentally, too. Although Friday was a real curveball at the new job and it will mean a tough week this week. And I leave for North Carolina thursday night - I have so many weekend trips and visitors ahead of me which is just so hard when trying to lose weight. But not impossible!
Also, I built my bed and 2 bedside tables this weekend! And I am totally in love with my new rug. I'll share some before/after pics once I am done decorating (probably in November).

Hello, So glad to be on the leader board this week! The weekend has been okayish for food. Not great but not so bad either. Went to a BBQ and I don't know why but I just can't slow my self down food wise at those. Workouts were a success for the weekend. I even tried a yoga with Adrienne video and really liked it. We started getting the firewood put in the wood shed. My husband and I finally got the infrared sauna blankets out. We did a short session thinking we needed to build up but probably should have just gone for the normal time. My workout clothes are already set up in the gym and I have all 5 of the families lunches packed! Ready for Monday but wish it wasn't here so quickly!5

Monday? We're coming for you - with some of our best
@CarolAnnM2 - excused and recovering from hip replacement. Hope all is going well!

Have a great Monday!3 -
Tackling some incredible hills in San Francisco. It was pretty neat walking by these narrow multimillion dollar jewel box houses. It was rainy and breezy, but I persevered. I splurged today and had a bowl of clam chowder at Fisherman's Wharf. And.. got take out from a trendy dimsum place. But, it was a killer hill work out there and back to the hotel. I thought about taking the trolley, but the wait in line was as long as the walk back! I am going to wait till Wednesday to weigh myself. Assess the damage!

@jugar I don’t want to be excused, unless it’s for the Team.
Weigh in Day: MONDAY
PW: 200.8

😃 💃🏼 I am quite happy with this because my new hip weighs anywhere from 3 - 5 lbs and the bone removed weighs a little less (forgot to ask the surgeon exactly how much mine weighed).
This is my new starting point for Journey to Hip Number 2 - 203.8 - which I expect to get within 3-4 months. My goal for Journey to Hip Number 2 is 40 pounds and it starts today.9 -

I am not getting my workouts in. I am struggling with 5am wakeup. Today, my alarm went off, but I was so tired, I just stayed in bed for 45 minutes. I slept for less then 6 hours, but I didn't fall back asleep so I should have just myself get up. I like how I feel after I workout. I like how I look when I am working out. I need to figure out how to get in workouts and sleep8

@ashleycarole86 major correction!!! I meant 12 min mile pace which is NOT 12 mph!!! That would be 5mph. Lol.4

Woohoo! Glad the new hip is IN and there you are already planning hard for the next one. You are going to be another @bowens1973 I made things all nice by changing your weight for last week and dividing up the new hip weight. Now you're on track for hitting your new goal3
