 I am back on the wagon and praying I never fall off again! I created and have been participating in βNancyβs 60 Days of 60,β pretty much forcing all of my groups of friends to celebrate me. π€£
 On my actual birthday I am going swimming with my former colleagues from the elementary school we taught at years ago. We are all still very good friends and we all LOVE a pool. This will be my fifth birthday celebration. I have several more coming! π Look, you only turn 60 once, so why not go for it?3

 I volunteer to usher at the Union Avenue Opera. Iβm not the biggest fan of opera, which is why I force myself to do it. π I will say it is growing on me. I certainly appreciate more the HARD WORK that goes into singing and putting on an opera. Plus one of my students has a small lead in this one tonight. So proud! π₯°4

            Trying to play catch up.. its been a busy week here but the baby shower for my daughter was yesterday so finally resting a bit today.
 Lots of last minute cooking and prepping (from the leftovers - way too much food) did bbq pulled chicken, grilled sausage and peppers/onions, 3 side dishes, chocolate dipped pretzels and 120 cupcakes in 4 flavors all complete in addition to 3 diaper cakes. Thankful others did most of the decorations and games! It was a huge success and now we count down to the end of summer. This mama is tired!
 Catching up on the posts here too - congrats to so many of you for great losses this week!!
