    Friday Weigh-In
    PW: 221.6
    CW: 218.8 :)

Motto: 🏋🏾‍♀️ Don't think, just do it!!

Recap: If I could just get those steps up. So close...Morning upper body workout and 40 minutes on the treadmill. It's snowing like crazy here. When I worked out, there was at least 5 inches and that was 5:30am this morning! It's not scheduled to stop until tomorrow noon!!🙂

    - THOUGHTS: This statement blew me away in another group. We always say we will get back on track while our mindset should be not to let things get "off track" in the first place ..consider this: You know, no train conductor would ever say "oh it's ok if the train derails... we can get it back on track later."
    Step Challenge - Goal 8500
    1/7 5,747
    1/8 10,757
    1/9 8,070
    1/10 7,945
    1/11 7,901
    1/12
    1/13

@iLive2Walk Love the pictures. Nature is so beautiful

    @Slimmersixties ~ Nice loss!!!

    @aneedlecraft ~ Just a little blurp...you got this.

@lindamtuck2018 ~ Nice loss and yes, rest is important and glad you took your doctors advice. Listen to your body as well, it will tell you. Have fond memories of your cousin today, you are there in spirit. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

@jimboden3 ~ Nice one. You can do it...2 in a row!!!

Friday and a Snow Day = Jackpot!

    Weigh in Day: Friday
    Starting - 223.6 (12/29/2023)
    1/5 221.6
    1/12 218.8
    1/19
    1/26
    Total 4.8

Both an amazing loss and quotes. I also like the train analogy. It makes sense.

Like a yo-yo, I'm up one week and down the next. Aiming for two in row next week.

Nice loss Jim! What do you plan on doing this week to break that yo-yo? I spent lots of time where I yo-yoed over the last 4 years. I tried many different strategies over the years. If it didn’t work, I shelved it and moved to the next.

I guess I must have looked pretty awful when I went to the doctors yesterday. He told me to go home and get some sleep. I took his advice and slept for 2 hours. I did wake up early again this morning and my sleep was not the greatest (pain) but I am going to the pool right when it opens at 8 am. My cousin is being buried today and I would give anything to be home with the family.

    Happy FriYAY!

    Great loss!

I’m sorry you can’t be with your family today! I’m sure it’s very difficult. Prayers for peace for you today.

Thank you. I ended up watching the service online. It was beautiful and I felt connected to my family. I both laughed and cried as I listened to family and friends spoke about Bobby.

Yikes 2024 is going in the wrong direction! And this deep freeze sure is not helping. All I want to do is hibernate and eat comfort food.
Now that I've noted that its time to move forward. Here's to a good next week. And stay warm people

The weather does suck. Doesn’t help you guys keep sending it up to Canada. Here’s to moving in the right direction.

You will get back to exercising. I have been not so great with exercise so I have to watch my eating habits. I look at your diary sometimes and you make delicious food choices. Keep up staying with8n those calories and you get back to your pre injury weight.

    Walk: 4/3

Had a nice swim yesterday. My friend was there and we did some of the exercises together. Today I am not doing anything. I am taking my granddaughter to a the mall and a movie so I will be walking around the mall with her. I will use my walker but I will attach the watch to my shirt so it counts my steps. My calorie average for the week is too low so next week one of my goals is to make sure I increase it. Weather is terrible today. I hope the roads are cleared by the time we go out.

    Have a super Saturday!

Today is my weigh in day but I think I either recorded my weight wrong in my daytimer last Saturday or typoed online so I will figure that out (hopefully) then post my weigh in for today.

Recap: Up and at 'em. Got my exercise in early for a Saturday. 90 minutes total! Cleaned the apartment. Love that I can do it in a couple of hours! Now to catch up on MFP...then play my games and watch football. Sounds like a perfect day to me!

    - THOUGHTS: Fitness is like marriage. You can’t cheat on it and expect it to work.

Not 100% sure where I went wrong with my numbers not matching up from last week
and this week the scale gave me 3 different numbers
so I will just post as best as I can
then will hopefully have a re-set next week!
