    My step count was surprising. My biggest plus yesterday was I resisted the urge for a blizzard.
    @lindamtuck2018 Great surprises! Good for you! :) My husband likes to bring those blizzards home for us all. I have to put mine in the freezer and ration it out.

    Motto: 🏋🏾‍♀️ Don't think, just do it!!

    Recap: It's going to be a bit of a tough weekend. Yesterday... unplanned lunched out. Called my son to visit with my grandson and they suggested lunch.... Today there are two NFL games. I will still be within budget but the food choices will not be the best. Yes... I "could" make better choices but this is for the long run so I have to make it liveable. But to counter... this is my rest day but I went out and walked (minded you "out" means out in the cold (30 degrees) and walked for 30 minutes.

    Step Challenge - Goal 8500
    ST = Moderate
    1/21 5,453 - no workout
    1/22 8,296 - ST 17 minutes
    1/23 3,893 - YouTube exercise video 30 - stretching and floor work.
    1/24 8,243- ST 15 minutes
    1/25 8,.658 ST 36 minutes
    1/26 9,062 ST 20 minutes
    1/27 10,878 ST 30 minutes

    @Megan_smartiepants1970

    1/23 should have been reported but it's reported above also.

    Weigh in Day: Friday
    Starting - 223.6 (12/29/2023)
    1/5 221.6
    1/12 218.8
    1/17 216.8 (unofficial weigh in - just excited to see this movement)
    1/19 216.8
    1/26 216.4 ~ not thrilled with today...but considering the big picture > down 7.2 for the MONTH! That's HUGE!
    Total 7.2

    Apparently you didn't see my last message .. I do not have anything for exercise videos and I do not have anything for floor work

    Just curious, wouldn’t those exercise videos be the same as aerobics?

    @lindamtuck2018
    No, they weren’t aerobic. But thanks for trying 🤓

    @Megan_smartiepants1970
    So 1/23 is only the step count. 3,893.

    And no I didn’t see any message regarding 1/23, I looked back to see what I missed and I couldn’t find anything, sorry.

    I'm going to the usa for 6 weeks later this year. Which are the best restaurants to get low calorie/low carb meals? And best supermarkets for low calorie ready made meals?
    Appreciate all your wisdom!

    I like Chipotles. Order the chicken bowl, with no rice, or beans. Also, just about any steakhouse, where you can order a steak, or any lean meat, and then add some vegetables. Places like Longhorn, Houston’s, and Texas Roadhouse, are among my favorites.

    My weight has been all over the place the last week. I keep telling myself to only weigh once a week but I can't stop myself from stepping on the scale each morning. Luckily whatever number I see doesn't spin me out and I go on about my day.

    Hi everyone 👋 thanks for accepting me to join the group. My name is Edith and I'm 53 years old and I live in The Netherlands, Europe. I've been on MFP for a long, long time but haven't noticed groups like this, unfortunately. I've had weight issues all my life and tried so many diets and other ways to lose it. Didn't succeed until I came across ketogenic diet. Lost a lot of weight in 2017 and 2022 (if you want more details you can read on my profile) but gained lots back again.. So now I need a bit more to keep myself motivated and that's why I joined this group. I saw lots of items on the group page, which I will start reading tomorrow (it's almost 10 pm over here now). I'm curious to see how the group members are doing.. I hope everything I'm doing regarding to reactions or messages and so will end up in the right place, as MFP doesn't show the right pages easily. I have to go through multiple pages, change the language and log in to get to the group page. Still I love MFP and it's members very much though..

    Nice loss! Weighing everyday is not something everyone can do. I have gone through a few periods where I just had to take a break from the scales. My weight can go through crazy swings from one day to the next.

    Good morning! There was nothing typical about yesterday for me at all (including the donuts someone brought to my house!) However, managed to only eat half of one (pretty good for the carbs girl). Got my steps in and kept my calories low but need to find some more protein today.

    Hi, I’m Nan (69), single, retired,Scottish female who must have read all the diet plans that have been around and tried lots of them. I have lost weight in the past but it keeps finding me.
    My February plan is
    Walk 10000 intentional steps per day as I have done in the past for sponsorship for charities. February’s charity is MAKE NAN FITTER (intention is to get up, have breakfast then walk 10000 steps before doing anything else at home, just like walking to work in years gone by)
    Log every B.L.T and stay within 1200 calories plus 25% of the walking calorie burn)
    Treats are for the three days I spend with my friend

    That’s a great NSV. Yesterday I stopped with my friend for coffee at Tim Hortons. Of course I ended up ordering a donut. At least I stayed away from the cookie I like from there. It comes in at almost 400 calories.
