I'm not sure where my steps will take me today. Probably not far because Bill is acting funny and I really don't want to leave the house. My phone showed 3708 yesterday and the two days prior about 2800. My phone sits a lot more than I do, though. Yesterday, running into WalMart for a RX for Bill upped those steps quite a bit.

Have done well with my eating the past couple of days, less snacking. Still not able to do a lot of walking, but trying to get extra steps in which actually helps to loosen up my joints. I can do a couple inside laps but then my back or hip with start hurting again!

I did a little over a mile, but my step count is basically just that walk because my phone has set most of the day. Food will be around 1100 for the day.

I did absolutely nothing that was good for me, yesterday. The time with Mom and the girls was great, though. Today is back to the grind.

I'm with you. We have most of a lemon meringue pie in the fridge from out fellowship dinner and two more pieces of orange/cranberry bread; as well as the after "Easter" candy that Wade found yesterday. I do pretty good with jelly beans, eating just four or five of them in a day. It makes them more special. Now to work on getting fewer carbs! Lunch won't help much, we're having turkey, mashed potatoes and baked beans! 😋 I'm afraid to get on the scale, so will wait until Friday. I was down three pounds, but I probably put that back on!

I tracked 1.3 miles today, but I did have to run to WalMart and forgot my phone at home, so it didn't track. I walked quite a bit there….walked from way out in the parking lot, then from one side of the store to the other. I'm saying probably at least 1.5 miles, total. Should wind up the day around 1000 calories.

Well, after all is said and done I gained just one pound back - woohoo! I know, that shouldn't be a woohoo moment, but I thought it would be all three pounds, and it's not!

You are doing really well with your walking, Connie!

Sitting at 1.5 miles today. Calories may be a tad low, but will have a good snack.

I did some exercises and stretching im my hotel room last night. I can tell I've been away from it for awhile.

Cold and ugly today, so no walk. I got steps in going to mom's, but didn't really check to see what it said. Doing well with calories. I jumped on the scale and Monday didn't hurt too badly. I was down 2/10 of a pound…at least not a gain.

Peanut butter and jelly sandwich with a latte in my room for lunch again today (it's what I had yesterday too). The client provided pre-made sandwiches and salad with croutons already mixed in. Good thing I brought a loaf of gluten free bread, small packs of peanut butter, jelly, pouches of tuna fish and small pkgs of mayonnaise with me. I also brought 5 apples, 4 small yogurts (breakfast every day so far), Colby Jack cheese squares and a can of salted peanuts with me. It's good to be prepared.

It's sad that there is food provided and you can't enjoy it. It is a good thing that you know to be prepared.

I got 1 mile in, but it was soooo windy that I didn't do more or even as quickly as normal. At least I did get the walk in before the weather moved in. Who knows about tomorrow.

I'm finally wearing my compression wraps on my legs. Since the pain had gotten so bad with the Lyme Disease I haven't done anything to help my lymphedema; but having gotten used to the pain more and it going down some I decided that today would be a good day to get back into doing some of the massage and wearing the wraps. I'm also working on getting more liquids in. I make up a 16.9 oz bottle of water with my Shur in it and work on that throughout the day. I need to make less coffee (17 oz with the creamer) and hopefully I won't drink on that when I'm thirsty during the day and just go for the water instead. I'm quite dehydrated lately and my arms are super crepey and won't stand up at all when I pinch the skin. I'm taking some hair, skin, and nails beet chews and trying to remember to put lotion on my arms. I don't notice it that much anywhere else, except sometimes my legs get quite dry. I've been using my hemp cream with the frankincense in that on my knees at night and that really has helped with that pain. Thanks, Connie

It's windy here today. Lunch today was even more disappointing. No protein. (There was breaded chicken and beer battered fish.) I said something to the woman next to me and she said something to someone on the travel staff. There should have been some kind of option. We found out that the attendees are getting the same meals we are - so there really haven't been great choices for any of them either. (The afternoon snack the last two days has been soft pretzels… today it was muffins that looked really good.) Anyway, that woman brought me a grilled chicken breast and a banana and said there would be better options going forward. I hate to complain. I'm just part of the production staff.

Anyway, I'm working Wednesday and Thursday. We'll see if it gets better.

Cindy - so glad that you at least got a chicken breast with a banana. At least that was something.

Kim - glad the frankincense is helping some.

I was pretty good yesterday. I went to see Mom, so a bit of walking there, went in Home Depot to have a key made and the machine was out of order, so went to Lowes and made a key. Those were without my phone, but I did walk from fairly far out in the parking lots. Then, I took a 1.12 mile walk. Bill went with me today, but stayed in the car and I forgot to get my phone out of the console.

I need to get back on the scales, but keep forgetting when I get up in the morning since that is my normal time to weigh.

I've been getting around 4 - 5,000 steps a day here in Milwaukee. The 24th and 25th were closer to 7,000. My foot is slowly starting to feel better. I still have moments where I get pain in that heel, but I think just over time it's slowly healing. (It's been nearly a year now - I started having excruciating pain last June.)

Wow, that's a long time to have a problem! Praying that it will finish healing more quickly.

I stay in the car mostly too. It's hard to get in and out of the car. We're going to get my handicap plaque tomorrow, so I will be getting in and out for that.

I got a call from my NP this morning and I'm so glad they called because I'd forgotten about the telehealth call in May. I'd told her that, basically, the ortho doc took care of the Lyme disease, but until I can see the Rheumatoid doc there's no one to help me with this constant pain. Yes, it is better than it was, but it's still bad. There's pain from my shoulders down to my knees and sometimes into my shins, but every joint in that area hurts. I just need someone looking out for me until I can get answers from the rheumatologist. I have muscle relaxants if I need those, but they do make me sleep; and I have a steroid pack if things get really bad again - but I need help for every day and I'm not sure that there really is any since I can't take so many things. I don't know, it's either joint pain or stomach pain! Jesus does know and He is giving me joy in the midst of this and helping me to find ways to sit or stand or move that take some of the pressure off. I would so appreciate it if you would continue to pray about this. Thank you!

Got about 1.25 miles in today. It was pretty for a little while this morning, so I figured I had better get my walk in early.

Sitting at about 1100 calories for the day.

Well, I just had a half pkg of peanut butter m&m's for breakfast. That's not healthy. 😞 I was going to walk to breakfast. I found a promising looking restaurant (loads of gf options) just under a mile away and had planned to go there early this morning... because I have a short day today and it doesn't start until 1. But it's been raining since I woke up. Boo. So I've been snuggling under the covers and reading since about 7 this morning. I just picked up a Starbucks mobile order (it's in the hotel). Threw my hair in a quick bun, put on my workout tee shirt and yesterday's jeans to run down to the lobby to get it. Trying to decide if I want to venture out in the rain or not (the hotel restaurant is just too expensive). Oh - and it's 44°. ☔️🥶

Wow, that is an icky day! A good day to snuggle under the covers and read though!

We went to pick up my handicap plaquard this morning and ended up getting a Bojangles' steak biscuit. Yum, but lots of carbs! I'm going to try and not eat again until supper tonight. The biscuit was lunch at 10:15 am, so I only have to go until 10:30! I might need to do a yogurt with some granola though, to tide me over. Dinner will be a small salad with a small serving of homemade lasagna made with ricotta rather than cottage cheese - oh my, sooo good! I was down to 238 this morning.

I didn't get my walk today. Bill's doctor was supposed to be here between 12-4, and it was raining this morning. The doctor didn't come, didn't call or anything…..aarg.

I got dinner over, dishes done and Bill in his chair, opened the door to take a late walk and it was raining again. My calories will probably wind up between 1050 and 1100.

1.34 miles this morning at 3mph. Finally getting consistent with speed.

I would need a cookie after all that frustration! LOL!

I have been eating less because of my gastritis so I've lost four pounds in the last three days! I've always known that losing weight is pretty non-existent for me unless I do less than 1000 calories a day, which is very likely what I am getting right now - and it doesn't bother me and I'm not hungry. Lunch was a smoothie with frozen berries and part of a frozen apple, water and apple juice, Kos vanilla pea protein (with lots of fruits and veggies mixed in), peanut powder (Wade likes that and we were sharing), greens powder and my magnesium threonate powder. It was amazingly good! Will do that again. I drank about 12 oz and Wade got 16 oz of about 28oz. Dinner tonight will be my yogurt, apple, and granola salad. Pretzels for a snack. I did have my Aussie Bite for breakfast and Wade made some biscuits and I had one of those. It's amazing how using White Lily Flour makes a difference in the texture and taste of the biscuits!

I see my eye doctor on Wednesday. I got a call about two months ago saying I would need to change my appt because the doctor I like is going to be out of town. No problem. Then I got a text notice that my appointment is the 7th and could I confirm? I confirmed and then called this morning and they said that she would be out of town on the 28th and they moved my appt to the 7th, at the same time it was before! Oookaaay! She is going to take a good look at my eyes and check the pressure since it had been high for three years until this last appt. I quit using the Fluticasone because that has a steroid in it and steroids can raise the pressure in your eyes, so hopefully that will help to keep the pressure down and I won't have to keep watching for glaucoma. I will she could do something about all these floaters though, they just get in the way all the time - but that requires surgery which removes the fluid from the eye and replaces it and then it takes time to heal from that and that means keeping your face down for a couple of weeks! I've also heard about lasering them, but that leaves little bits, it doesn't wipe them out. Sigh. Neither option sounds good. I keep cleaning my glasses hoping it's dirt on them that's getting in the way!

Wow - Hope you are feeling better, Kim.

We are doing fairly well. It was a rough Saturday and Sunday with back pain, but I go through that once in a while. I took the Tylenol Arthritis and Naproxin, used my deep tissue chair massager and got it under control. This happens every few months and I know what to do about it. I think it is scar tissue from the surgery several years ago.

Today, I was back to my walk. I got about 1.34 miles in this morning early. I got stopped by a couple people, so I didn't actually show the 3mph, but I think I probably would have made it if not for the stops.
