Yup - I know Creamie was posting in English but I need some serious translation! Cream crackered? C25k? Laura who?

lol - me too but I just didn't write down all I had to google :)

C25K - couch to 5K - started by National Health Services coach - Laura :)

Cream-crackered - colloquial (originally U.S.). In predicative use: (of a person) very tired, exhausted from mental or physical effort; showing the effects of… cream crackered
I think this is one of those ??? can't remember what they are called, but on of those British plays on words where the original expression is replaced by something that sort of sounds like it - this one must be several levels away from the original term πŸ˜‚

Okay - time to go vote. Wish us Canadians luck, Yooly. I'm afraid we need it. Soon we might be in the same boat with different paddles. Maybe soon with the same paddles. 😢

Go vote Laurie! Hope you aren’t as gob-smacked as I was the day after. How could this be the new reality????

    10/10 @lauriekallis - NHS, Laura & cream crackered!
sort of cockney slang colloquial to yorkshire!
ugh! Voting - is (only) local elections here this Thursday, but that is bad enough …. Can’t help thinking this word has gone mad 😳

No C25K week 4, run 1 this morning as swelling over top of foot. Part of something flaring as over knukles and some fingers up too. Gentle walk with cone head doggo instead; her first since her operation… nice to see her happy tail back in action😍

Washed down all tile floors - about 1500 sq. Ft. at least? So nice and clean and exercise too.

Resting cardio day today for foot …… instead venture into wardrobe …. sorting, chucking & recycling with chocking on the dust for good measure! Felt like exercise 🀣

Sounds like a lot of spring exercise cleaning going on round here!

    I know mine is coming.

When housemate gets all his stuff out I'm doing some remodelling to make sharing the house a bit easier. Plan to add a doorway between their two rooms and a "vestibule" between their rooms/my rooms and the shared kitchen and bathroom. Currently one of my two rooms - my studio/dining/guest/living room (I move furniture around a lot) is their access to their second room and to the shared kitchen and bathroom. That is not ideal.
Once that work is finished I'll move into spring cleaning mode. I know it is going to be very messy. House is almost 150 years old - drywall over plaster and lathe - BIG mess coming my way :) Thinking maybe I'll wear swim goggles? To keep the dust out of the unhappy eye?

Definitely get some safety goggles. They’re about $5 here at Home Depot. Probably about the same at Walmart. Might be some at a thrift shop? Protect those eyes πŸ‘€ Laurie!

Definitely! I normally use safety goggles - but they are not "sealed" - so I'm thinking I need to step it up a bit :) safety goggles over swimming goggles :)

full face respirator mask could give you a 2:1 benefit!

With the side filters they are easier to breathe in and out of than some of the "95s" and would protect you from breathing the crap. Plus the eyes too!

That sounds like a lot of work Laurie. Eye protection sounds a definite requirement!
wardrobe job here sounding very trivial

Had / having some major renovations here , following water leak on top floor whilst on holiday - caused major ceiling collapsing on hall & kitchen. Hall finished - just some coving & decorating to do, new kitchen mostly gone in, just need flooring in there & in hall! Will be glad when finally finishedπŸ˜‰

Hmm…I already have a respirator (lots of work under my belt in this house)…will look into the full face masks. Especially now that I'm not wearing glasses for vision. It will be easier to accomodate. Great idea, PAV. Thank you.

Oh my lordy, PAV. $160 plus filters plus tax. Glad I'm looking now. That way I'll be acclimatized to the price when I get to the store.

Overall Amazon's filtering and fit and finish would be more SUSPECT. But it could be a valid option. I haven't TRIED any personally but when I was flying to dad during the "troubles" I did have a boo at what full face respirators might have been available… cause enclosed spaces ;-) But in the end I just did the KN95 double thingy plus a bottle of paw goop for the flights.

Yes - I'm pretty confident about the respirator I have - and a whole bunch of filters. But it won't do a think for keeping small particles out of my eye.
