another really hot day almost 100 we did spend most of day in the pool in the morning i got vacum and dusting done .

Lunch yesterday was at a nearby Vietnamese restaurant. I made the mistake of trying a bite of Jason's lunch and I am pretty sure it was wheat tofu, so I'm paying for that. Breakfast this morning was cold cereal and a Spam Single, slightly warmed in the microwave. Pineapple was the juice of the day.
Lunch will be the leftover grilled pork and steamed rice from yesterday's lunch.
The scale was very friendly this morning, with a number lower than I've seen since colonoscopy prep time.
I think the Mounjaro and bit of additional exercise is doing well for me for now.

Ed, wishing you continuing success with the Mounjaro. Yay you! Also, most soy sauce has wheat in it, so it could've been that. Irene, it's been sweltering here too. Hooray for your pool, and hooray for A/C! Jo, hope all is well, probably wicked hot there too.
It's 79F, 26C. A mix of clouds and sun this morning then strong thunderstorms this afternoon. High 87F, 31C. Finally down from the 90s! whew! Winds SW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 70%. Localized flooding is possible. We went for a short walk in the park yesterday morning (found out the park doesn't open until 8 a.m.). Exercised at home. Went to the Farmer's Market in town with a friend. Irene, I hope you didn't have any damage from the storm. We had a big storm last night too, with flood warnings, but no floods in our area. All is well. Hi Ed and Jo.

Today Ruby is officially 1 year old and to some that means no longer a kitten. But she's still a kitten by her activity. It was a rocky first year but we came through it and she seems fine.

Yesterday I had an appt with the cardiologist and all is well, don't have to go back for a year. It has finally cooled off. The current temp is 55F with a high of 83F. Yesterday was a beautiful day. I weeded one of my flower beds and then sat outside to read for a while. Ed-happy birthday to Ruby. I am glad she is doing better. Vix-It is good that you don't have to go back to the cardiologist for a year. Irene- I hope you didn't get any damage from the storms. Good morning;
It is currently 58F with a high of 87F. Yesterday we spent most of the day sitting on the deck. My daughter brought over 2 large eggplant and Charlie made eggplant parmesan for dinner. It was yummy.Ed-I hope you had an enjoyable spa day. Vix-I am sure you had fun at the fair. Irene-did you get any pool time over the weekend. Today I have already dusted, vacuumed and washed the kitchen floor. I am a morning person and am most productive in the early hours. Later today I may go to Kohl's to pick up a few things. We went to a different Korean spa yesterday. It was lovely, but most of the dry saunas, aside from the ice room, had no benches and nothing to assist in getting down on to the mats or up from them. Some assistance rails would have been nice.
We had lunch at the spa. Jason had a tofu and veggie stir fry dish that came with steamed rice. I had roasted eggs (3) and French fries since I didn't feel I could trust any of the stir fry dishes not to have wheat. I think next time, assuming we ever eat there again, I'll have the roasted eggs again but with steamed rice. I had hoped for an area with at least some light workout equipment, but could not find anything like that.
Supper last night was a couple of gluten free corn dogs with mustard. Breakfast this morning was a meat lovers breakfast bowl, orange juice to drink.

It is currently 76F and sunny. It was such a nice day yesterday that I turned off the AC and opened the windows. Ed-good for you getting you exercise done. I have been using lb. weights to try and strengthen by arms and shoulders. I am glad the Mounjaro is agreeing with you. Vix-I hope you are enjoying your time away. Hi Irene. Ed, nice that you go for spa days. πGlad the Mounjaro is working for you. Jo, it was a nice little get-away with our daughter and her children to Deep Creek Lake. It was great weather high 60s to 70. I needed the cool! Our daughter rented a pontoon boat one day and we went riding around the lake, which was fun. She and the kids jumped in a couple of times, but it was a little chilly getting out! The kids tried fishing at a state park, and we went to the nature center. It's good to be back home.
It's 77F and cloudy here. Looks like 80s for the rest of this week and into the 90s next week. π₯΅ I need to get an x-ray tomorrow, but otherwise have a free day. Wishing all a good evening. π»ποΈ

well our weather has been beautiful I haven't been in the pool for a couple of days because it's been cooler so no swimming exercise which is fine I am been on my walking pad which I love I have lost 19 pounds since like May so I am good I am pretty much just staying away from junk food.

Ed, we had homemade meatballs and gluten free pasta for dinner Friday night also. Last night was crock pot short ribs. Hi Irene and Jo.
Yesterday, I did some cleaning, laundry, the usual exercise, ran some errands, etc. It's currently 59F, 15C. Sunny. High 87F, 31C. Winds light and variable. I'm trying to set up a new routine, so this morning I had a glass of water and walked around the block before settling in with my morning coffee. Will see what today brings.
