    LoL, chocolate knowledge!

I notice haircuts the last few years - 1 lb tins are often 14 +/- instead of 16... most particularly t.p.! A tad shorter and smaller around.

The other day, noticed that the white bread was labeled 'big' and 'premium.' The loaf and size of the slices have returned to original physical standard size of past decades and clock in again at 80 cals/slice... but now, the loaf costs a much bigger premium price!

    Sighs...

I will have to double check the tp from Costco! I was thinking it looked a bit less substantial!

On the other hand smaller full sized chocolate bars may be a good thing 🤷‍♂️

Costco Kirkland TP is still the best deal. Full size roll while other major brands are narrower by at least an inch. I’ve actually researched this!

At Costco, we were getting the big package of marathon tp at work. Disappeared awhile, came back smaller package. Same for the dog pads and babywipes.

On the flip, pb changed brands with bit lower price, same quantity.

hmmm…. I think PB is a bunny just as much as cocoa is 😲 … which is… very QUESTIONABLE!

(I need Yooly's NOPE for this one!)

So today I am eating 115g of sweetango apple, plus meat sauce that has 5oz of vegetable in it, then the pasta is made from lupini and fava beans.

I will continue this for at least the next three days (meal prepping around work) with the addition of chocolate protein muffins for breakfast that have shredded zucchini in them. I love fruit and veg but have to do the opposite of volume eating, lol

    Hmmm... chocolate, pb, yum!!

Ok, made double, enjoyed 1/2 for lunch - stir fry rice, veg & white chicken. Add-ins purple cabbage, purple shallot, diced tomatoes, petite brussels, zuchini rounds and a drizzle sweet chili sauce

    Plum after.

    Calling it 4 bunnies

    Nic….

to me it sounds as if the zoo is there for volume / lowering caloric density (?)

I remember back in the day I used to try to come up with carrots or zoo or sweet potato brownies. maybe muffins might be easier to achieve.

Tried some choco milk with sugar free pudding and greek yogurt. A little bit eyeballed which resulted in one batch being right on in terms of being a pudding and the other batch being more like a yop / liquid drink — that one might have frozen nicely.

Feeling / being cold (which tends to generally be the case with me) doesn't contribute to being able to eat ice cream TYPE treats as often as I would like. Oh well!

Pav, I've had zucchini bread I liked before. It contributes moisture mostly?

Yes yes bleeping cake 😜 sure, it's not like I have a candy bar & cookie problem.... let's add some Starbucks lemon cake at a quadrillion calories a slice! 🤯

    Ok. Let's make a cake-like, muffin-like, leaf-like, brownies-like, mug cake-like, or any desert-like type concoction... albeit with a few restrictions.

We are trying to minimize calories while maximizing taste and quantity!

So.... No oil!!!!🤯 Apple sauce allowed. Will considered a petition for up to 1/10 of fat sources used in normal recipies 🙄 no sugar!🤯😜 Well you've got the apple sauce for sugar and you can add liquid sucralose drops (not baking sucralose which is 2 Cal per gram but liquid drops)! Or your own favorite alternative sweetener 🙄 and bonus points for using zucchini, or carrots, or apples, or previously frozen blueberries in there! Extra bonus points for using egg whites, Greek yogurt, or eggs in there too! What can you come up with?😜😜😜

    "Surprise Cauliflower Bean Stew"!
    (surprise yummy tasting too!)

Had a can of Greek "giant" beans in tomato sauce that are a bit high calorie to eat as is (almost 600Cal for the 400g ready to eat can: https://www.paliria.com/en/product/giant-beans/%29. And of course it would be eaten with a "goodly" quantity of bread too…

So I set out to see about turning them into a soup!

Warmed up a bag of green giant cauli rice while sauteing some onions in the oil rich juice from the can.

And since I was at it, tossed in a bag off green giant cauliflower and onions with garlic butter to warm up in the microwave too, mainly to snack on while I was cooking was my thinking.

A jar of Classico Tuscan style olives and garlic sauce was next for expiry, and it looked to me that it would suit the situation and go well enough with the tomato sauce from the can.

So as I was preparing all this and the kettle was just about boiling at full throttle, I had a good look at it and decided it was looking more like a stew and less like a soup!

And I started thinking about what to have it with—other than a probably counter-productively large quantities of bread, of course!

Decided to toss in there the bag of onion garlic butter cauli for the larger size/texture difference and to add to the tang of the sauce by chopping in there some Kalamata style black olives.

Awesome tasting stew as it actually turned out. And I think that almost everything other than the oil and butter is some sort of bunny!!!😎

In the end I did have 45g of bread—with about half the stew, so far!

The stew looks interesting! Lots of flavors there. I’ll probably go with Yakky’s salad though.

It’s cooled off some - mid 80s- and we had rain after 48 days of nothing. Whispers of 70s and mid 40s at night later this week! So perhaps 🤔 stews and soups…….

    Woohoo for you!

We've definitely had rain! And the furnace has been at it consistently.

And next week it will be dark by now!!!😲😲😲🤯

    Dark, right! Nuts.

    Mid-40s downright crisp there Yooly

We're inundated in an atmosperic river that is big puddle making and si humid, takes a bit of time to dry off.

Oddly we had 'straight wind' yesterday, whichI had never heard the term before...

    What is a straight wind?

“Straight-line winds are powerful, non-rotating winds that originate from thunderstorms, and can be just as destructive as tornadoes. They are caused by a downdraft from the storm that hits the ground and spreads out at high speed. Damage from straight-line winds is characterized by debris falling in one consistent direction, unlike the chaotic scattering from a rotating tornado. “

    B - saute veg with egg - 1

L - saute veg in tomato mix veg soup - 4

D - xl mixed greens salad with rest of saute veg - 4

Cabbage in saute veg is a choice, after cabbage soup emo intolerance from fad vlcd, aka repeated family excursions with the cabbage soup diet... :/~

Ha! I have to do something with my red cabbage that is still staring at me from the fridge!

I had one baggie Asian Stir Fry Riced veggies at 289g (170 Cal) (3.4 bunnies)

I had one baggie Green Giant Riced Veggies Cauliflower medley at 343g (101 Cal) (4 bunnies)

I had fresh baby tomatoes 278g (50 Cal) (3.27 bunnies)

So, yeah, over 10 bunnies today! Without dipping into the cocoa bunnies!

Pretty much you can do the same things with red cabbage that you do with the green.
Have you considered chopping the red cabbage and pickling it? Vinegar, bit of sugar, salt and pepper- dump in a bowl and wait a day. Similar method to pickled onions.

Sour kraut or just picked? Sugar helps preserve I assume?

Tbh because generally I would just power through it 🤷‍♂️ a salad . A stir fry. The ubiquitous cabbage soup diet plan (chortle). Though I would add a whole whack load of stuff to that soup, including meat and potatoes (probably chicken).... but it WOULD leave room for cocoa bunnies 🧐😁😇🙄🙄🙄
