PAV - soup or salad red cabbage is probably the way to go. Because if you pickle then you need a plan on what to do with it. Generally with red cabbage I make German style cooked with an apple and maybe a bit of bacon. Sweet sour. If I have any rot kohl leftovers it freezes well.

Hmmm snausages (I still have the super salty chicken ones from Costco in the freezer) apples potatoes red cabbage maybe some white wine..... this may be workable πŸ§πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”

Thought I was drowning but looks like everyone else is drowning more!

Or did the Halloween candy get you guys?

So my green beans did end up a little bit too much for me yesterday, And even though they're logged into yesterday I had about a third left for today!

Added about 132g Canadian grown yellow onions, and 405g Western Canada hothouse tomatoes. Almost five bunnies there! And a couple of pouches of "fresh additions pre grilled chicken bites" (overpriced and underperforming water rice and potato starch and chicken flavor infused product 😑) but handy... About 1.52 Cal per gram, so in line with real chicken in terms of calories!

Dumped it into 1 litre of soup (two packs of Thai chef with one of the noodles discarded)

Eye balled the split between "for lunch" and "for dinner"

Guess it’s a tad rainy in Vancouver? Send some this way! And cooler temperatures because it’s going to be 90+ the next few days.
Mr. PAV is definitely going β€œbuy Canadian”. Good for you! I saw plenty of those signs at the Atlantic Superstore in Halifax. Keep up the good fight and we’ll get through this in time.

I’m still working on bagged salad because hubby found them on sale (99 cents). Only one more to go. My bunnies are happy πŸ˜ƒ.

I don't know, caught out and about, and didn't thaw a thing, and everything I imagine starts me drooling! Freezer vegs to the rescue, I'm sure!

Strawberries with breakfast today. 1 bunny

Quick @yakkystuff one 750g bag and 7 min in the microwave!!!!

    Oh noooooo..... Nic!🀯

Any quick instructions re the apples?

Bake them whole? Cored? (using the little coring tool or just cut up?)

Do pickles count in the bunny department? I have 110g of pickled mushrooms and onions and bell peppers and black olives on the list…. probably as a single bunny. But sounds a bit iffy to count them. And just under 5 bunnies worth of baby tomatoes… 420g. For lunch. With bread and a bit of cheese came to a non zero 450 Cal!

Certainly olives, tomatoes, peppers and onions are πŸ‡. Not sure about mushrooms πŸ„ Fungi??

So either cut the apples in half, or use the corer/slicer (I did) to cut the apple into 8 slices. I did 3 apples this way. Then I just tossed them with some SF "maple" syrup and copious pumpkin pie spice and cinnamon. Then I air fried at 380Β°F for 18 minutes.

If you just halved/cored them, probabky need to air fry longer.

    Let's hunt some WABBITS!

no wabbits for me today so far! Had more than a few in some sort of unknown type burrito in a bowl from some chain thingy late last night. Probably a gazillion calories based on fullness on completion of eating (nacho chips contributed to that, I am sure). Had bunnies. But also "had calories" :-)

we shall see rest of day. So far was pizza slice so… ZERO bunnies so far :(

I actually had frozen pizza last Sunday (then Monday lunch, of course) for the first time in a while. I found one from Walmart that was actually pretty good! Ultra thin crust veggie pizza, tasted good. And, for 1/2 the pizza it was 450 calories. The pizza itself was a decent size, so 1/2 was plenty.

Although it's a veggie pizza, I wouldn't count on too many 🐰 disappointed with it, however.

My biggest beef with ordering pizza away from home is that you can't have the nice big salad I would normally eat my couple of slices with when I'm at home! The thin crusts are not terrible... when shored with additions!

    Yep, yum, agree!

Sauteed up a big pan for a few days - mixed stir fry kit with cabbage, kale, carrots, snow peas, what not. Added 2 med onions, 4 bell peppers.

Enjoyed a cup with 1/2 bag of Asian chicken rice stir fry and a 1-1/2cup mixed bean soup. 6 bunnies

Dinner rustic stew with a cup of the vegs. 4 bunnies.

Woohoo! I had 750 G of my bunny heavy cabbage for lunch and I'm contemplating having more of it for dinner 😎

Currently at reduced activity injured reserve 🀯 further information may be forthcoming 🧐😲😲😲

It did involve (without direct contact) coyotes dogs alleys and tumbles.

Lots of salads πŸ₯— and other bunnies πŸ‡. Trying to recover from a week of vacation restaurant meals. Not too much damage but fighting to get down before the holidays arrive.

Not sure what all that is there PAV! Looks interesting? At least it’s not a big old box of Dubai chocolates…..

First was the big "stew" or other possibly named food with half the red cabbage head from a week ago. @yakkystuff missed the original pictures 😜

The second was the green giant risotto, Campbell mushroom, random peppers that were starting to go soft, some carrots for color and some powders and water soup from a couple of days ago!

Then when the second container of that soup was at 50%, or so, it got some red cabbage and onions for help to keep going for another day! πŸ™„

    Blend and extend!!! 🀣🀣🀣

I've done that, but not purpled, that would be fun at Halloween, LoL

Thanks for the pics Pav, brought it to life!

We're in 40s-high 50s so back to soups! Cleared freezer to use up stashed packets, make room for new ones after the feastly cook this week.

Lunch... pumpkin hash with the saute broccoli/greens

It was a happy accident experiment on the fly after I accidentally defrosted the pumpkin pak instead of italian thick tomato paste/sauce baggie, LoL

    Loved it, would repeat

Not sure whether this should fully count towards bunnies, and WOW on the calories Mr Green Giant!

Almost 700! calories for 390g of "tri-color potatoes" and 320g of carrots that I mixed in there to lighten the load! (potatoes were the 550 Cal!)

Everything was "air-fried". I guess the carrots can count for 4 bunnies. The potatoes are a bit more iffy given the buttering!

Here's a pic of about half of the plate:
