I also had to reduce the weight for some exercises - 2kg weights are too much for the lunge/ arm raise combo!!0

Made it through Day 1/Level 1. Whew. I almost put it off until tomorrow but thank goodness I didn't and started.
Will definitely have to get some lighter weights. Overall, I actually kind of enjoyed it. May take a day off and try level 1 again this weekend.0 -
Day 3 L1 done...getting easier. Love the fact that I don't have to do it when I get home from work either!
198.8 today! Hopefully after this it will be a lot less!0 -

I'm using 2kg weights and those side lunges are a killer! Hopefully it gets easier in the next couple of days.
Good luck everyone!0 -
Very tough workout, but I'm actually looking forward to it tomorrow! So glad this group was started ... great way to stay motivated!0

I kind of did it last night but I know I didn't do it hard enough since I was able to walk today. I do it at work and usually I woulds bring my weights back and forth but I forgot them last night and then again tonight.. I'm going shopping in the morning to pick up a set of weights just for me to leave at work.0

I completed my 4th day of level one yesterday. I really would like to do it today for day 5. My original plan was for me to have a rest day today but I'm still debating. The soreness is definitely gone and no longer lasts after the workout. The moves have gotten better but it's still definitely a challenge. I want to take measurements again at day 10. I hope there is some improvement then! Cheers to everyone on doing the Shred! :drinker:0

L1 D1 completed today! The goal is to to do it at least 5x a week. (I've done it before and muscle soreness doesn't let me do it with no rest.) I'm super excited to see everyone's results at the end of the month! I plan on weighing in and taking measurements every Monday.0

L1D1 Finished! Wow, I really let myself go. This was so much harder for me this time. Can't wait for it to get easier! Loved the idea of using wine as weights :drinker:0

I've been doing the shred through February, and for the month of February, I lost 5.8lbs and 7.5 inches doing the shred 4-5x a week!0

L1D2 done. I went to the gym last night after doing day 1 and, boy, was I sore today! I used 3 lb weights the whole time today. I kind of can't wait to get to Level 2. I like it a lot better than 1 for some reason.0

Ooooooh, I have to agree. I think Jillian sits at home and just laughs thinking about people doing level 2 :grumble: BUT you're right, it does make me better.
L1D2 finished!0 -
Day 2 down! Finding it a little difficult to do push ups..it hurts my knees! Someone suggested modifying it by doing it on a wall. Also, I have a hard time with bicycle crunches ! Making sure to so regular crunches when I find it too difficult0
-
D2/L1 complete! I. HATE. PUSH UPS. I did find it a bit easier this time around but I'll stick with L1 for a few more days at least. Happy weekend everyone!0

I finished L1D2 yesterday and boy am I sore. I find the combination of jumping jacks and jump rope the hardest for me, but I'm super overweight and still a smoker ( I know, I'm a bad kid :ohwell: ) As soon as I get off work I'm going tanning then its home for day 3! I'm excited to push through these next few days. Can't wait for this soreness to go away....It would be easier if I didn't have to climb stairs at my job...:grumble:0

Just finished L1D3. Still a butt kicker but it is getting easier. May take the day off tomorrow so I don't overdo it and burn myself out.0
-
1D3 done- I love getting to day 3 because it starts to get easier!0

No judgment past here. I'm dealing with my urges 1 day at a time.
Finished L1D3...yes it's getting easier....but what I'm finding is that my calories burned seems to be getting lower. Anyone has any input as why that maybe. I am using a HRM0 -
L1D3 completed and I feel great. I had a WW weigh in today and I'm down 2.2 lbs:) I'm super excited that I haven't had to deal with the sore muscles. I had intended to use rest days, but if this keeps up I may be able to power through the entire 300
