Fitness Self-Tests?
I'm looking for ideas/resources for a self-evaluation of fitness, to use as a progress tracker during my fitness journey. I've been marking progress on specific tasks (like weight lifted or push-up progressions), but would really like something a little more comprehensive and appropriate for a wide range of fitness levels.…

Not new but back again to shift some of this weight
So its a long story but I've been dealing with alot over the last month or so. Means I've abandoned weight loss and health in general eating fast and easy things. I've gained a little chunk shall we say over the last month. I've already lost a little but that's mainly because I had covid and wasnt really eating. Looking…

Breastfeeing mom
I’m not very good at these types of things but hi! My name is Adrianna and I’m mom to an 18 month old whom I still BF. Lately I’ve felt sick of what I’m seeing in the mirror and the lack of energy. I feel really determined to get rid of that feeling and to feel my best again, for myself and for my daughter. So, here we go!

Support love and encouragement
Hi mfp. :) I really want to have a space where we can comment, talk, share, and inspire each other. Like those Facebook groups. Where we can all come to this thread daily to check in and interact with each other. I feel like I am struggling alone. I hate that feeling. I know there are amazing people here and I would love…

Diabetes T2
I'm in a bad spot. I've been trying to improve my DT2 but nothing works. I feel so defeated and troubled. I eat low carb, go for 2-3mile walks, and still my numbers are high. I try fasting and it worked for a hot second now I can't go below 200. I don't know what to do and I'm ready to give up 💀and just let the disease…

Lost 20lbs, Gained 10lbs back. Time to get back on track. 🙃
I lost 20 lbs. in two and a half months by counting calories, keeping myself accountable, and staying excited about my goals. I could see and feel my progress and I was excited. I want that feeling back and I'm claiming it today. I bought a new jump rope so I guess I'll try it out. Happy Healthy to you all. 💙

YOU ! but inverted.... Have you ever thought about stress this way ?
There is a theoretical model about stress called the inverted U theory, that states that Imagine an inverted U, you get a normally distributed curve.* On the left you have low stress that can be linked with inaction, letting go and sedentary behavior. * On the right you have chronic high level stress which is also bad for…

Menu Planning
I would like to preplan my daily food in the same setting as the diary. I suppose I could put what I plan to eat in the diary but i wish there was a way to indicate "this is what I plan to eat." Then I could adjust and check what I actually ate that becomes the diary. The diary feels like past tense. Indicating as…

How can I tell the bully in my brain to scram?
Every night I lay in bed and drift off to thoughts of bouncing out of bed, high-impact exercise, a cool down with my best dog buddy, shower & off to kick the day in the butt. But, in reality, I get out of bed late, brush my teeth, feed my best dog buddy and I am deflated. I get on the scale, no loss. I have a cup of coffee…

Baby steps

My goal is 155 that's healthy for me. Starting again at 53 is so hard, I'm at 218 and I know how I got here. The proper eating well be…

Does anyone else feel like they keep getting in their own way?
Lately I’ve been feeling like I’m getting in my own way of my weight gain goals. When I’m stressed out I tend to either eat a lot less or eat all the junk food and nothing healthy. Either option leaves me feeling physically ill, which in turn stresses me out more and it ends up being a vicious cycle to the point where it…

I am DONE!!
This is me about 12 years ago. I can see so much more self-confidence and self-reliance in my eyes. I miss that. Physical and mental health problems, nursing my Mother through dementia and grieving her death, along with comfort eating, have been the contributors to me gaining well over 70lbs since this photo was taken. I…

The struggle is real
Hello everyone, I recently had surgery and before the surgery I wasn’t able to work out for months due to pain. Currently I still can’t workout my lower body, I’m at the heaviest weight I have ever been without being pregnant. Pregnant, want to get/stay healthy
Any other currently/recently pregnant people? Last year, I lost about 70 lbs over a year. Felt better, looked better, sleeping better, etc. Doing really well. Then I got pregnant :) In the meantime, I'd really like to stay active and keep eating healthier even though I know I will be gaining some weight back. I'm having…

Operation: Fit into my jeans
I don't want to buy new clothes but my jeans (and skirts and pants) don't fit anymore. I gained the COVID 20. Very much like the freshman 15. I hope to get a few people to laugh and chat with about success and setbacks. Anything to keep me motivated to use this bloody app! Will love any takers.

Hello! I'm starting my first sincere attempt at weight loss since coming out of a multi-year health problem.
