  • I like to brown the meat with some middle eastern spices (garlic, onion, paprika, cumin, coriander, oregano, cinnamon, etc.) and serve in a pita with hummus and feta.
  • I'm trying to be friendly to others. when someone is rude or drives like a jerk, it's so easy for me to react unkindly... instead, I want to be different. I want to be nice whether it seems deserved or not.
  • I really like these soft gingersnap cookies (I leave them plain without any chips).
  • I store some things in the freezer in an attempt to not eat the whole thing at once. but then I found out that I actually like eating frozen oreos... whoops
  • thank you for the explanation! :star:
  • wow, that's quite steep. I live near shenandoah, and I would refuse to go hiking there if it cost me $70/trip. I wonder if the annual passes would rise proportionately as well? I'm not sure about the trump conspiracy theory, but nothing really surprises me anymore (I've lived in DC for too long I guess). I do agree that…
  • if it makes you feel any better, mine's the same calories are over by 38, but carbs*4 + fat*9 + protein*4 = over by 95.
  • my guess is that one (or more?) of your individual entries doesn't add up exactly, either, causing the grand total to be off. sometimes several can be off due to rounding, and then the grand total at the bottom looks more skewed. in my experience, the total calories listed is often slightly more than what the actual…
  • double chocolate zucchini bread I've made it, and it is so moist, flavorful, and decadent! not low cal, but worth it to me.
  • I came here to link to this, too
  • 450 g plain greek yogurt 1 packet ranch dressing mix 62 g jalapenos heaping spoonful minced garlic handful cilantro blend until smooth. similar to chuy's creamy jalapeno dip; I use it as a dip with chips or to top tex-mex dishes instead of sour cream.
  • 450 g plain greek yogurt 1 packet ranch dressing seasoning mix 62 g jalapenos (I used jarred) heaping spoonful minced garlic half a bunch cilantro blend and use as a dip or to top other dishes in place of sour cream. it's my version of chuy's creamy jalapeno sauce. practically guilt-free, unless you eat a whole bag of…
  • no advice from me, I just wanted to say I love what you called it
  • for more filling and macro-friendly tacos, I like to brown the meat (turkey or beef) and then add a can each of refried beans and tomato sauce with the taco seasoning. it turns out kind of like a thick chili, which you can use for tacos, nachos, burritos, whatever. the beans add lots of fiber, the meat has lots of protein,…
  • I'm having a hard time thinking of any possible medical reason why this would be necessary. surely there is one... right? this device wouldn't only be for overweight people to lose weight while continuing to eat too much... right?
  • recipe?? please
  • I'm not sure I understand "natural ingredients" or how they are beneficial. I use jif brand peanut butter powder because I think it was the cheapest per ounce at the store. and its only ingredient is peanuts: I use it every single day with crushed oreos in my morning yogurt. yummmo!!

  • mimosas. obviously. and if this person also wants food, you could do a crust-free quiche or even just scrambled eggs with some cheese and veggies, bacon, maybe a hash of some sort, fruit tray with yogurt dip, etc. tons of options!
  • buffalo chicken dip using 2 cans of chicken. I use lower fat cheeses and dressing, and it always turns out delicious and macro-friendly.
  • I've always thought of shrugs as a bro-move, but reading this thread is quite interesting... lately, I've felt strain in my trap for a few days after lifting, and I had decided that it was due to my bench press. I lowered my weight on bench, but maybe what I need to do is counterbalance it with some shrugs! fascinating.
  • you don't actually have to do all the math... if you plug all of your ingredients into the recipe builder, it is done for you. search for the can of tomatoes, add 3.5 servings. search for the can of beans, add 6 servings. search for whatever ground turkey you have (99% fat free, etc.), add total servings in package…
  • when I was first out of college, I couldn't cook and ate either convenience food (pop-tarts, chips, frozen pizza, prepared dinners, etc.) or fast food for every meal. I successfully lost some weight by eating the same stuff, just less. so I would pick up my regular meal at wendy's and throw 25% of it away. or I would only…
  • is this also a PSA? or an ad for milk?
  • I'm the same way, I eat/drink dairy for practically every meal, but whey protein definitely does not agree with me. I planned on trying other, non-whey-based proteins, but I just haven't gotten around to it. good luck, I hope you find something that works for you!
  • I usually buy more expensive pants and bras (outlet/sale from under armour or athleta), but for tops old navy can be inexpensive, especially when the whole store is 40% off!
  • no swimming. you don't want to expose the fresh "wound" to any potential infections. I agree with those who recommend anything with limited foot movement or that can be done barefoot. but you'll really only need to modify your routine for a week at most, then your tattoo will be healed enough to not be bothered by socks or…
  • ^^ bingo. I flat out REFUSE to use the regular recipe builder, I only use the "old" version. if I have to edit a recipe, you better believe I recreate an entire new one from scratch using the old recipe calculator.
  • I am pretty sure the low-fat cheddar cheese sticks I get at trader joe's have zero carbs and around 70 calories each.
  • and washington, dc...
