  • I also lost 40 pounds in 2013 and gained about 5 pounds back until 2020 and then gained another 10. 2020 was a depressing year. I am going to try to back on track this year & lose my extra 15 pound. You have done it before & can do it again!
  • I can relate, I'm 54 and lost 40 pounds in 2013 and started running in 2014. Early in 2019 my knees started hurting a lot more until I was in tears by the time I ran 2 miles, I finally went to the Doctor and was told I have severe osteoporosis in my right knee. I've been sedentary since July and have gained 10 pounds. I…

  • I started running 3 years ago at the age of 49 my first 5K was 38 minutes. My best is 33 minutes. I know I will never be a fast runner & am ok with that. I used the C25K app when I started. Instead of speed I'm more interested in distance. My best 10K time is 1:19.
  • I've tried the lemon, birthday cake, salted caramel & vanilla bean. None of them taste like real ice-cream. I'll just stick to smaller portions of real ice-cream.
  • I'm the opposite I can run 3.1 no problem outside but I can barely do 2 miles on a treadmill.

  • I did it in 2014 when I started it I was walking several days a week but that was my only exercise. I did my first 10K this summer although I didn't use the C210K app I just started increasing my weekend run by .5 miles every week. The c25k program works great although at the end of the program I still wasn't doing 5K…

  • I've tried the birthday cake and lemon they are ok but they are not like real ice cream. The lemon left an aftertaste and they are no where as good as Ben & Jerry's or any other full fat ice cream but for the calories they are not that bad. I agree Yasso Greek Sea Salt Caramel bars are better.
  • I'm from Georgia and I try to do a short run once a week after work around 8 pm but it's still in the upper 80's and a longer run Saturday mornings it's only in the mid 70's around 7 am. I don't like running on a treadmill so during the summer I limit my runs to only twice a week because of the heat and humidity.
  • I usually run 2 miles on Wednesday and between 4-6 on Saturdays. I do strength training on Tuesdays and yoga on Thursdays. I sometimes try to fit another run in each week but haven't lately it has been to hot in the evenings at 8 pm it's still in the 80's and I don't like the treadmill.
  • Halo top does not taste like ice cream. I've tried a couple of flavors after my sister recommended it to me I could not finish either pint they were so bad. I'll have to give the Yasso bars a try.

  • I was on it a long time ago 40mg a day I gained 40 pounds I stopped gaining weight as they started to taper me off but I didn't start losing until after I stopped taking it but I think with calorie control you could probably lose on a low dosage. Good Luck.
