I can absolutely see a difference! Your eyes are more visible, and your face looks thinner.

Thank you so much for sharing your story!!! You are inspiring!

I'm going to see someone tomorrow who is newly vegan because he watched this movie. I'm going to read a few of these articles linked here, in case he gets preachy.

Great job, thanks for the inspiration! Reading posts like this reminds me that I don't have to do anything super radical or super restrictive!

Cherry Coke Zero is my favorite. Zevia Ginger Ale is really good, too!

Wow, congratulations, and THANK YOU for sharing your photos and your story! I lift, too, and your muscles totally inspire me!

I love the lemon cake one, pistachio, red velvet, and birthday cake!

Yay, I'm so glad there is another six week challenge! I stuck to the last one and it helped me get through a rocky patch! Start weight - 187 Challenge weight loss - 183 Ultimate goal weight - 160 Last 6 week challenge loss - 1.5 7/24 - 187 7/31 8/7 8/14 8/21 8/28 9/4

Final weight - 187. Down 1.5 pounds. Far less than I wanted to lose, but I am proud of myself. I hit a rough patch, and instead of giving up like I would have in the past, I re-assessed things and got back on track. I hope there is another 6 week challenge!

Wow, you look great!

I didn't hate my pants when I put them on yesterday

When I first heard that restaurants had to start posting calories, I didn't think it would matter to me. Wow. Now that the calories are posted, it makes a huge difference in what I order. The biggest impact has been skipping sweets. I work in the same building as a Panera. It's very easy to ride the elevator downstairs and…

Are you weighing and measuring everything you eat? If you don't have a digital scale, consider getting one and using it to track everything. It's a great way to get in the habit of eating rational portions of things.

SO SUPER inspiring! Thank you for sharing your story and the photos!!!

This is such a well-articulated, thoughtful response! I personally don't water fast, but I understand the desire for a deliberate, sort of radical, event to inspire reflection and denote a change.

I didn't want to post this because I'm backsliding. But, I'm doing this for accountability, so; 7/17 - 190.5 I'm reevaluating my eating plan, and hope to reverse the scale next week.

You look fantastic! Thanks for posting photos, I'm inspired!

188 today. Still up from last Monday, I need to focus on my eating since I've actually been pretty consistent with my workouts!
-
Well this isn't the direction I wanted the scale to go! I know this is water, I am going to re-weigh on Wednesday and see how things are going. Meanwhile, here is where I am so far: Challenge SW - 188.5 Challenge GW - 179 6/19 - 188.5 6/26 - 188 7/3 - 187 7/10 - 189 7/17 7/24

Are you able to see a doctor and get some bloodwork done? You could simply have a little vitamin deficiency or something.
-
Congratulations on losing and keeping it off! People want quick fixes and easy solutions, and they just don't want to hear about it when something logical but hard works. Good for you for not even discussing it anymore. You don't need that aggravation!

We get Indian takeout a lot at work. I love Kadai Paneer. Paneer cooked with tomatoes, onions, and green pepper.
-
I got great results from that!

Slow and steady! Challenge SW - 188.5 Challenge GW - 179 6/19 - 188.5 6/26 - 188 7/3 - 187 7/10 7/17 7/24

Hi Charlie, welcome back! I need to lose around that, too. I love gardening as well! Mostly vegetables. Nothing crazy - mostly the traditional peppers, tomatoes, onions, carrots, etc. Although this year, I am trying celery. I heard it's hard to grow, but I also heard it likes damp ground, and one of my raised beds has a…

Wow! You're an inspiration!

It's not cheating at all. Like someone else said, I think consistency is key though. I always weight myself right after I wake up, after I visit the bathroom, and with no clothes on. However you do it, just do it the same way all the time.
-
You're lean already, have you looked into Lyle McDonald's RFL?
-
Great job, congratulations! I think it's great you figured out a weight that works for you, and you're not obsessed with BMI. It really shouldn't be applied to individuals anyway.

Do you have any particular plan you're following?
