First of all, you got hit on by a cute guy...happy dance! I think he. MEANT it as a compliment, but screwed it up. I'm guessing he doesn't have wonderful social skills, which is probably why a cute, single guy with a good job is still single. :)

Woo hoo! Did you walk calmly back into the dressing room and then bust into your happy dance?? That's wonderful!

This is pretty much what I've been doing, and the weight is slowly coming off (approx. one pound every 10 days or so depending on how active I am). I'm learning new habits in the process. It feels like a lifestyle I can maintain long term because I'm not starving all of the time! Best of luck.

I'm addicted to mtn dew. I still have one a few days out of the week, I just make sure I have the extra calories for it those days. I tried diet mtn dew again today . It's just not the same. I'd rather have the real thing sparingly.

Eating more is working for me, too! I actually set my calorie goal at my tdee, and just aim to stay under. Some days I'm really under, and some days I'm right at maintenance. I'm averaging one pound every ten days or so. It's slow, but consistent, and I never feel deprived. I had a Brownie batter blizzard today at lunch…

I tried 16:8 two different times last year, for about a month each time. I actually gained a few pounds both times! Obviously, I was doing something wrong. Lol. I loved it and thought it was easy to stick to, just wasn't what worked for me. Best of luck!

After I had my son, I was 20 pounds overweight. I went back to work doing home health, so I spent a lot of time driving. I started eating fast food and drinking tons of sugary/caffeinated drinks to stay awake. I would make a bag of Movie Theater Butter popcorn every night and eat the whole bag while I watched tv. And the…

Thanks! Best of luck to you, too! I'll send a friend request. :)

Hi! I'm mom to a 2 year old little boy. Once warm weather gets here exercise will be easier because you can put your little one in a stroller and go for a jog or long walk. Good luck! I will send you a friend request.

It is easy to eat more than I think I am. I will probably always have to log in order to not gain weight. Great job figuring out what works for you! Welcome back! :)
-
That sounds great! I just sent you a friend request....other ladies feel free to add me as a friend. I'm 38, have a 2 year little boy, and need to lose around 30 pounds.

Hi! I have relatives who have Celiac and fibromyalgia.... sorry you have to deal with these! They are rough. BUT.... you can do it! This site is filled with kind people who have lots of advice and encouragement. Feel free to add me. I'm a mom and Ihave Multiple Sclerosis. Best of luck!

My dog LOVES the cold and snow, so I've walked her a lot this winter (when the temp is at least 20, otherwise her paws stick to the ice and she acts like it hurts). I can't wait until spring to walk her even more! She can't handle heat very well, so in the summer we take short walks, then I drop her off at the house and…

Thank you for sharing. I'm so sorry about your sweet niece. Best of luck as yo continue your journey.

Sorry you are having a bad day, and dealing with depression. It's awful! I had a crappy week and decided to just have a binge-fest today. BUT, I logged it. Taco bell, little Debbie's, soda....ever nasty calorie. Keep in the habit of logging. One change at a time. It will come, just don't give up! You can do this. Best of…

I can't step on the scales everyday as my weight varies way too much day to day. As much as i know it's water/sodium/period/something random it messes with my head too much.[/quote] Me, too! I was weighing every day for a few weeks and it was driving me mad! I felt like I kept losing and gaining the same 2 pounds over and…

I was stressed out today and ate four little Debbie fudge rounds and two cans of Dr pepper. Haven't binged like that for a while.

Hi! I am a dermatology nurse, and usually when acne is worse around the chin and jawline it is hormonal. My guess would be that having. Baby has your hormones acting differently right now. A dermatologist can inject a small amount of steroid into the painful cysts and clear them up in a matter of days. Someone mentioned…

I eat in moderation. I try to eat From all the food groups. I'm old school like that. I have only been using mfp for 45 days or so, and seem to be losing one pound a week, which is the goal I set for myself. I allow a treat every day. I usually have a square or two of dark chocolate. I tried paleo in the past, and could…

That's a very noticeable change in only five weeks! You're an inspiration!

I'm 5'7, just went from 193 down to 188. My goal is to lose 1 pound per week, so max 1700 calories a day set at light activity. So far, it is working! I stopped logging my exercise, which is mainly walking the dog and yoga, so I don't eat my exercise calories back. Feel free to add me!

Wow, congrats on the amazing success you've already achieved! I'll send you a request.

I just sent you a request!

Ive had pizza several times since starting this journey six weeks ago, and it hasn't kept me from losing. It helps keep me on track knowing that I can occasionally have the yummy foods I love. Log it, enjoy it, and don't feel guilty! :)

Lucy, you are so brave to put all of this on here.... it takes guts to open up like that. Sounds like you need a therapist to talk to on a regular basis to help give you coping skills. Are you seeing someone? As far as the risk of getting Huntington's Disease, you cannot let yourself be robbed of enjoying life now because…

Hi! Congrats on having your first baby! Those few months are crazy! My son is now 2 years old and I still haven't gotten down to pre- pregnancy weight. I was 165(I'm 5'7) and got up to 220 at my last appointment before giving birth. I dropped down to 179 within 6 weeks due to breast feeding and being too exhausted to eat.…

I watch this show. Pauline was so infuriating! All the help that Dr. N and his staff were giving here and she didn't even try. She is in serious need of psychological therapy. I can't believe she lied to him about not hearing from the physical therapist! She seemed happy and content just to be back down in the "low 500's"…

you're not stupid....I don't know either!

Dinner would be a 12" pizza, king size m&m's, one can of pepsi, one can mtn dew...OR quarter pounder meal with orange hi-C, and a large cinnamon rolle. Snack on king size Reese cup (4 cups) and. 20ounce mtn dew. Wonder I'm still alive.
