Can I also join? I tend to yo-yo between 165 and 185 but I’m currently at my highest - 189 😩 I would love to get to a 165-170 range by May. I love lifting weights and doing body pump so I don’t get too focused on the scale numbers but I definitely need a jump start and some motivation! Stats- SW 190 CW 189 GW 165 Age 44…

Be patient!!! It's taken me 7 months to lose 20 pounds but it's better than gaining 20 in 7 months. You can't tell much of anything in 6 days. Give it 6 weeks and then see how it's going! Good luck!!

I do cardio (Zumba class mostly) 3-4x a week because I love it and it's fun and it earns me about 300-400 calories. But I also do weight lifting 2-3x a week. And I have one day of stretching type stuff - core work and that sort of thing. I don't think it matters if you do cardio and strength on the same day or not. Just do…

How much have you lost so far? I am right where you are. 169/170 and I've lost about 16 pounds since January. It's been super slow but realistically I only need/want to lose 10-15 more as well. Are you lifting weights? Can you maybe cut daily calories by 100-200 for a week or so and see if that helps? I custom set my…

1 - workout clothes are all getting very loose. 2 - friends are starting to comment 3 - bought a bikini

I normally eat 1700-1900 calories on days I work out. If I don't work out, I try to not go over 1600 but I also look at my deficit from a weekly standpoint.
-
I've been losing about .75 lbs a week with a 500 calorie deficit - but I am ready to kick it up a notch - 750 calorie deficit started this past week. Hopefully it will help a bit. I don't think I can manage a 1000 calorie deficit.

Can I join? I'm 171 and a goal of 161 by July 4 sounds amazing!!!
-
Making it to the 160's!! I was 171.5 this morning. I'm officially the smallest I've been in four years. I'm so excited to be so close to 169.

I do the half serving and shake up in a container method. It works well and I still get whatever dressing I want. But Olive Garden Italian is yummy and only 80 calories a serving. And they have a lighter version as well.

I'm 5'7", 173 (down from 185ish), 42 and would like to lose about 15 more. Please add me! I'm keeping calories between 1500-1750 calories a day depending on my workout.

I think sometimes it takes a few weeks (4-6) to really see the numbers on the scale move. And for me, I had to eat a little more each day to actually lose. There's a sweet spot. I try to just eat at a 500 calorie deficit every day. And that number changes daily based on my exercise. Make sure you're logging everything. It…

I stick to light beers or vodka/rum with Sprite Zero or ginger ale. Sometimes with a splash of OJ.

I've gone from 185 to 173 since January. It averages to .66 pounds per week. It's so slow but I only want to lose about 15 more so I'm ok with it. I'd be happier if I could break into the 160s soon though. My goal right now is to stay strong this summer!!

Cute swimsuits! The floral one is so pretty on you!!
-
I'm 173 right now and have first goal of 165 and second goal of 158. Please add me!! I need some more friends!

I tend to meal prep but only eat 3 meals and one small snack a day - breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, dinner. I concentrate on keeping breakfast and lunch at a specific calorie amount and my snack and dinner calories vary based on my exercise that day.
-
I feel like (for me) low carb long term is very hard to maintain. I'd never want to live a life that didn't include bread or pizza or cake occasionally. Low carb is popular but not for everyone. Create a calorie deficit and prepare to be patient.
-
You should not worry with losing weight until you learn to eat in a healthy way. Did you say before you only eat 600 calories a day?
-
Be patient! And be sure to eat enough calories. Your body needs calories to work properly. My scale bobs up and down all the time but eventually trends down. I just have to keep doing what I've been doing!
-
I drink water or lemon water during the day because it makes me feel less bloated. I don't know how much it is but I know it's a lot. Sometimes I'll have unsweet tea as well and occasionally a Diet Coke.
-
I broke my wrist last fall and I don't know that I'll ever be able to do push-ups or dips again either. I've actually been avoiding body pump classes because of that. I guess I need some alternatives for those things.
-
This! It's been slower for me this time because I'm not doing anything "crazy" - no 1200 calorie days, no giving up all carbs or sweets, no "more than I can maintain" gym schedule. What I'm doing now is what I can do forever.
-
If I know we have something going on later in the day (say Saturday afternoon) I will a) be sure and go for a workout that morning b) cut my normal breakfast and lunch calories by half - it gives me a cushion c) drink lots of water before the event d) offer to bring/make veggies/hummus/salsa e) relax and have a good time.
-
I've lost 10-11 and it's taken 3.5 months.
-
I'll join!

How are you guys figuring your body fat? I'm 176lbs 5'7" Thigh - 23 Calf - 16 I've been measuring for a few weeks and my calf has basically not changed. It's very muscly. I'd love to fit in normal boots too.
-
I'm 5'7" and started at 185lbs. I'm 176 now but hope to get to 150-155. Add me!

I buy a lot of spinach, sweet potatoes, chicken/salmon/steak for the grill, eggs and baby carrots. But all that is normal for us to eat all the time - I just have to eat less of it when trying to lose weight.
