Eating less is definitely harder for me. I have no issue exercising now that I see all the opportunities available to me for exercise.

This! :)

As soon as it happens! I weigh daily, and then update any losses. I have noticed that now I'm under 200 my weight fluctuates a bit more day to day, but I never log the "gains."
-
I try my very best to, yes. Every now and then something slips through the cracks though.
-
Wow, nice drop, and big congratulations!! Feels good, doesn't it?! :)

1. That I had to overeat to compensate for my lack of sleep and stress from raising four little children 2. That my weight must be my "natural/comfortable" weight because no matter what I did I hovered there (except I wasn't really doing anything for more than a day or two...)
-
Well done!!! :)

I eat my walking/step calories (50% anyway). You get less for walking than more aerobic exercises, but it still counts, IMHO.
-
I've had a rough week too. You just have to log it, learn from it, move on and keep going. Next time you feel stressed and want pizza, maybe limit yourself to two pieces? You've got this!

I cut most drinks out of my diet. I now drink water and about three coffee's a day. No more soda no more juice, and I was never big on alcohol. I barely even miss them anymore. I will have a diet soda when I go out to eat sometimes, but that's about it.
-
I also like to eat back at least 50% of my exercise calories, sometimes more. I love the saying that someone uses on here that "the winner gets to eat the most and still lose" that is totally how my mind works :)

48.6 lbs gone! I can't decide where I want to end up, after losing all that weight I'm pretty happy now, but I'm still really overweight, so at least another 30 is going away.
-
Well done!
-
Look at you! That's amazing, well done!
-
I'm 5'6", currently 193.8 lbs, and I get 1500 calories (lightly active, 1.5lb/wk loss) + 50% exercise calories.

I like to still enjoy life every now and then so I say yes to cake. It fit in your calories and you exercised, I wouldn't even give it another thought!
-
I've lost just fine having treats. I think as long as you stay within your calorie goals, or have them balance out over the week, it's all good.
-
For me it's usually the day or two before that I'm ravenous. I just eat. Exercise. It all balances out in the end.
-
It's lovely.
-
As long as you have the calories for it. I eat chocolate almost every day.
-
I think sometimes it's harder for us to see it. Congrats on the NSV! It's great when other people notice :)

Me too...mine was 17" and had very little weight when I held it in my hand.

I'm 3.5 months into this and I don't think my will power has changed much at all. I try to avoid some things, and others I will have a small serving size of. I do okay with lower calorie options, but there are some things I can't resist, like the Cadbury Cream Egg. I'm so glad that season is over! I know if I do eat too…

My husband surprised me with the Garmin Vivofit. I love it. It really helps keep me motivated and moving.
-
You look fantastic, well done! And congratulations on running your first 10k!
-
I have days like that too. Log it, let it go, and do better today.
-
I have the garmin vivofit and it's been great for me. There have been a handful of days it has had issues syncing, but in general I've had few issues with it.
-
Exercising daily (and in turn losing weight) has given me the most amazing energy boost.

Me! I finally got my butt in gear January 1st and have been doing it ever since. I used to say with four kids I had zero time to exercise, but I just decided to make myself a priority for once and I made the time. I generally do my first exercise when my youngest (1) takes her morning nap. I do additional exercise…

Yes it worked. At one point it wanted to lower my calories to 1270 and I manually changed it to 1400 + exercise calories and I still continued to lose well.
