Logging EVERYTHING I eat helped me to get started. Even when I wasn't trying to watch my food or caloric intake or exercise, I'd just record absolutely everything I put in my mouth. Seeing it in writing in front of me really solidified that nothing will change unless I make the effort. Nothing changes if nothing changes :)

I can be extremely rigid in my thinking so I definitely know how you feel. Mine would be something like, "Well I know I'll be going out to dinner for my brother's birthday in 2 weeks so there's no point in eating right or working out since I'll blow my calories then."

Going through the same thing! My appetite is absolutely ravenous and my stomach is a bottomless pit. Every month it's the same thing! It's such a struggle.

YES. THIS. Also, pizza. I could have pizza every night. I never get tired of it. Now I'm learning to have only 2 pieces instead of 4, and to make sure I've budgeted my calories for the day.

I've never seen a time limit enforced at my PF. Even during the peak times, there is rarely a wait to use any of the cardio equipment. Not sure about other PF locations though.

Yep same here. I also really like the Kellogg's Pastry Crisps. Only 100 calories for a package of 2 crisps. They have several flavors including a few chocolate ones (though the berry streusel is my fave).

Go to Settings, then select Connect Apps and Devices. Then I selected iPhone motion sensor since I use my iPhone to track my steps. I have yet to see how this feature works/syncs with MFP. I'm going to turn on my steps counter on MFP on days that I'm not doing cardio for exercise. I guess that will have to do.

But if I manually log my exercise on top of my calorie adjustment from my steps tracker, it would double up on the calories I've burned. I guess I'll just have to disconnect my steps tracker from MFP!

Just do it! This type of avoidance is pointless really. Your weight is just a measuring tool. Honesty is so vitally important in the weight loss process, and you're not helping yourself by avoiding and demonizing the scale.
