stress and anxiety .. any time IM overwhelmed.. I fund myself scarfing something down before I am even aware that I'm freaking out.. its my go to anesthetic.. weight gain the unfortunate consequence of my coping strategy !

Oh I hear you ... I can be queen health by day and drive to get junk by night ... I brutally log.. haven't been night snacking in awhile , but when Im in a streak others know :) were not perfect !

bones from the butcher : broth base for stews .. add veg. health is really the best investment you can make.. Im low income but I my food aim is always quality.. in season look for farmers coop csa or grow your own.. veg veg veg

thanks for finding a place to be honest.. honourable .. I have a hard time at nights as well sometimes and sometimes those sometimes are more often.. but admitting always seems to be a good step ... and yes being thankful you practiced old coping ways.. reaching for food but caught yourself before a binge.. good work :)…

Currently I make sure I take my Iron and BVits just to insure energy.. I was anemic for a long time and It did not help at all in the exercise the department.. but to weight loss supplements thank god Ive never fallen victim to appetite suppressants, laxatives, etc. The only thing I did try was the super fruit cambogia..…

first recognize how you use food to cope.. fully. it sounds tough.. but try add in some activities that make you feel fulfilled in your day.. even if its as simply as getting out for a twenty min walk.. red lentil soup is traditional and delicious.. try looking up a soup recipe on a all recipes meal planner.. mine has shredded carrot, ginger, cayenne, lemon juice, onion, green peppers, tomato juice ( home canned from the garden)

mmmmm all these snacks sound delicious ! I like organic apples and pumpkin butter these days.. seems to hit the spot for a snack and then making sure I have nice rounded meals so Im not craving any other kind of snacks !

1600 is where Im at at lower weight (172 ) and it feels healthy... decreasing the cals to much sends the body into starvation mode and might work great short short term but ultimately lowers you metabolism not to mention encourages binge..I see way to many on here trying to huff it through 1300 and under cals and it…

starting weight on pal 174, had lost from 188 a few previous months before joining the site. Im 59, currently 164 would luv to be at 150 but ill take a healthy 154 any day now ... last ten seem like the hardest !!
