Hey, just wanted to wish you well from someone who has lost 102lbs and been maintaining for 5 months now! Start with small goals and celebrate those victories! Know you will make mistakes but don't beat yourself up, just get back on track and keep at it! Good luck with everything!

At some point you'll need to take care of you. Finding the balance is different for everyone. I find I'm a better mom when I get my hour at the gym to do my workout and my kids no longer care and tell me to have fun. Maybe try going before work or after she's in bed if it's truly an issue. I agree with the smaller goals. My initial goal was 50lbs. But I just kept going as I saw the improvements and how great I felt. I'm now down 103lbs! I'm just maintaining now and working on toning. Good luck and I hope you find what works for you!!

I had mine done 14 years ago (still have it). But I agree with a previous poster that it's mostly pressure, not much pain. It's very quick. It was my least painful piercing I'd say.

You can add me. I've only been running for about a year. But I've completed several 5k's, have more lined up this summer and my first 10k as well. Hoping to run a half marathon next year.

My twins are 7 (2 singletons as well). They sure keep me busy! Lol Today I hit 99lbs lost! Just keep at it! You can do this!

I posted this pic elsewhere, but I have 4 kids, including a set of twins. I've lost 97lbs. It's taken a year but I also hurt my knee in the winter so that delayed things a bit. I workout every other day (run and lift) and eat clean. These last 3lbs are taking their sweet time coming off though! Lol

Misjudged the height of the bar before taking it off the squat rack. Took it off fine, couldn't get it back on...

I never took progress pics. But I'm working on player passes for my daughter's team, which I manage, and look at that! Different stages of my weight loss. Ha!

I'm down 97lbs due to my diet and exercise. I picked up running a little over a year ago and run every other day (my knees need the break) but I also lift too. I agree with what others have said, to invest in good shoes and to go slowly. You're doing this for you! Good luck and have fun!
