  • Thanks everyone but I’ve been doing low carb for 51 days now so I think the water weight has been gone. But good to know that this is normal for intermittent fasting! My weight loss slowed until I started the intermittent fasting 🤷🏻‍♀️
  • Hi, I just found out I have PCOS. I’ve been on a weight loss journey to help with trying to conceive and to just be healthier. I go in for blood work tomorrow. I’ve done some research on PCOS and I’ve already started the low carb diet over a month ago so at least I am on the right track for that. Not sure what type of PCOS…
  • Thanks everyone, and I do wish it was just a day but it’s more than just one day and more than just one stop. Plus New Years. We will also be out of town so idk maybe I am stressing for no reason but thanks for the support 😁♥️
  • Awesome, congratulations!
  • Awesome, congratulations!
  • Hi everyone, feel free to add me. I am new to the group and I look forward to making some new low carber friends.
  • Hi, I will join the July challenge. I am new to the group but not new to the low carb lifestyle. I recently restarted my weight loss journey and low carbs is the only thing that has helped me lose weight before. I’ve lost 11.6 pounds since restarting in May of this year. My starting weights in May was 183.4 and I am…
  • My food diary is open to friends. I stay under 50g of carbs for the most part( I have cheat days occasionally). I need to incorporate more gym time tho. I’d love to make new friends who are also doing low carbs. It’ll be nice to see what others eat 😁 add me!
  • Hi, I am also losing weight for my wedding in September of this year! I started at 183 and I am down 10 pounds. My goal is also to lose 50 pounds but I’ll be happy with weighing in at 150 something by September. 125-130 would be awesome tho lol but anything is better than the weight we started at! You gotta get motivated…
  • My petty reason is to look amazing in my wedding dress. On top of that others are losing weight before my wedding too so I don’t wanna be the one that didn’t so no one can say or think she’d look better in her dress if she was a healthy weight.
  • I usually drink water, or read a book, or the daunting task of washing my hair and blow drying and ironing it lol it takes like an hour for me to do my hair so by the time I am done the urge is gone. or jumping jacks until the urge passes.
  • Thank you! I’m learning so I don’t know much about it. Just that jumping rope works several muscles, and I like exercises that work all or a group of muscles at once!
  • I guess bc it’s big in the CrossFit world? I am just learning..
  • Yup, the heavier it is the better a beginner can handle it. This is an article I read that was helpful http://wodreview.com/equipment/best-jump-ropes-for-crossfit-what-to-look-for
  • My goal is to lose weight and get into a workout routine. I started my journey January 7th and have lost 5 pounds so far. I decided to incorporate exercise the week before last, did good but last week I did not workout at all so I need to make it a habit.
  • I am just learning but I do know that the CrossFit jump ropes are weighted (handles) and ropes are thicker to add more weight. Just creates extra resistance.
  • Checkout YouTube or amazon video if your a prime member bc they also have a lot of beginner level workout videos! Find one that interest you and go from there, good luck!
  • I am the same way, and I am sure you felt the same way when you first joined Planet Fitness both terrified and excited! But once we do these things we realize or wonder why was I so scared?!?! So don’t let it get to you, you’ll have so much fun!
  • My first goal is to be in the 160’s before getting married this April. I started off my journey at 187 and last week I weighed in at 184. I weighed myself today at 182!
  • My goal clothes are those oversized sweaters with leggings. I think the look is so cute but can’t pull it off just yet. Another one is to be able to fit into a bikini-the 1950s inspired ones, and ripped jeans.
  • My fiancé and I are on low carb because it’s the only thing that has helped us lose weight. I was just wondering how to spice it up a little. Maybe put different low carb meals in rotation or different ways to have the same meals..thanks
  • @aeloine same here, I drink the pre-made premier protein shakes. How much are they at Sam’s club? I’ve bought them at Castoc at $24.99 for an 18 pack and $16.49 at Bj’s for a 12 pack. I love these shakes!
  • @MilesAddie thank you, never heard of it but I will check it out!
  • @estherdragonbat thank you so much for all the info! The medicine ball is 10 pounds. Probably as big as a basketball or a tiny bit smaller.
  • Right now I am weighing myself once a week. It helps to keep me motivated and accountable. Maybe once I’ve lost the weight I want to lose I’ll weigh myself less. But it’s really up to you
  • Yea, I don’t add my exercises to my fitness pal cuz it messes with everything. It sucks but I need it to be as accurate as possible.
  • Idk where the rest of my post went but I just hope I can do this! One goal at a time..
  • My wedding coming up in 2018 is motivating me!
  • My first name + the year I was born
